These rules set out how you may enter and continue to participate in the Idolblog Tipping Competition. Please read these rules carefully. If you do not accept these rules, do not enter the competition. If you don't accept any changes to these rules do not continue to participate in the competition. By enterting the competition you are indicating your acceptance of these rules and agree to be bound by them.

By entering the competition you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to do so if you are not.

This is not a gambling site - It is a competition.

This competition is only open to members of Idolblog.com who are residents of New Zealand.

We may at any time modify these rules. Please check these regularly to review any changes as your continued participation in this competition is your acceptance of such changes.

Points are tabulated based on the username used at the time of making your picks. If you change your username during the competition any points you have previously earnt will not transfer to your new username.

The competition will begin on Sunday the 21st of August 2005 and close on the 17th of October 2005.

Winners of prizes will be notified by email on Wednesdays. No prize may be redeemed for cash or any other reward, nor may it be transferred.

In the event of a tie, the winner of the Grand Prize will be selected at random.

We will not be held responsible for delays in delivery of prizes.

We reserve the right to make whatever enquiries we see fit to prove the identity of any participant and/or winner.

All picks must be made on www.idolblog.com before 8:00pm on the Monday before the eliminated contestant is announced.

Any picks which are incomplete will be disqualified.

We accept no responsibility for late or undelivered entries, communications or technical failure, malfunction or difficulty or any event that may cause disruption to this competition.

We accept no responsibility for any third party predictions or information you utlise in making your picks. You make your picks at your own risk and discretion.

You agree that we can display your username and your score. You also give us permission to use your username for promotional purposes and also in the event that we may require a photograph of you as a winner, to the extent permitted by law.
