You've competed against your mates in the virtual rugby competitions, now compete with them in the Idolblog NZ Idol Tipping comp and win prizes.
You can join the competition at any time but there are bonus points you can earn the longer you are in the competition.
Each week, between 8:30pm Sunday night and 8:00pm Monday night you can submit your picks. If you miss a week, then your picks from the previous week will apply.
If you change your mind about your picks, you can re-enter them during that period - we'll only use your last lot of picks.
Each week, you rank the remaining contestants on where you think they'll end up in the competition (10th, 9th, 8th etc).
- If you correctly pick only one person in the bottom three, you'll get one point.
- If you correctly pick only two people in the bottom three, you'll get two points.
- If you correctly pick all the bottom three, you'll get four points.
- If you correctly pick the person who leaves that week, you'll get a bonus point.
When there are less than three people in the bottom group:
- You'll get one point per correct person in the bottom group, a bonus point if you get all the bottom group correct and another point if you correctly pick the person who leaves that week.
For the Grand Final:
- You'll get five bonus points for picking the winner.
But, there's a twist - you can get lots more "retrospective" points each week depending on your previous picks.
Each week someone leaves, if you picked them to leave that week on a previous lot of picks, you'll get a bonus point.
E.g. If this competition had been run last year, and each week I had picked Ben Lummis to win, in the final week I'd get 9 "retrospective" points!
Each Wednesday we'll let you know which members have the most points overall and any that got full points that week.
We've got a Sony PlayStation 2 with SingStar Pop and the SingStar mircophones for the person with the most points at the end of the competition as well as other prizes each week including music from Sounds music stores. (More prizes TBA)

No all places count - tomorrow the only places you can get points on is the bottom 3 but next week if you picked the correct person to leave in 9th place, you'll get "retrospective" points.

This makes it sound like you have to sign up for something in order to participate, which is probably why everyone's asking how to sign up.
