i like the videos but its slow to load the site
What type of internet connection do u have? I have broadband and it only takes 4-5 seconds to load each video.

I think its a NZ idol tshirt, tv2 pen and cd wallet, and some allens lollies. I don't have it yet but they emailed me saying that I had won.
They don't even put all of the messages up. That site is very pointless unless you want videos. If Idolblog starts doing videos then it will be very much the best site for information on NZ Idol 2005.

Why the hell did they call it idol 'chat' when it takes over half an hour for your message to get on the board.
Just had look on their website.....I'm not liking their "Idol Chat" thing. No point in me signing up to use it, doesn't seem as if i'm missing out on much. - Don't like the layout or the colours used. The background blue colour is too dark plus it's kind of hard to read peoples comments - Not very pleasing to the eye.
Simple is always good - It seems as if they were going a bit too hard out with their site.

Is anyone else getting a 502 error? I've been getting it for a while on the official site. A 502 error means the server is overloaded.

Yeah it was down for about an hour but starting working a little while ago again.
The screensavers are good..... it looks like we are going to see the idolman in the elevator. TVNZ even removed the giant purple TV2 bar, great! Looks like TVNZ are trying to win the public over idolblog. Fat chance though.
man, tvnz's site is pitiful. This site actually has information on idol, the contestants, access to the articles. Who needs tvnz when you have idol blog.
Nah it seems more like they are listening to our advice.

This is the good site.
The new website is quite good. I really like that green that had been added into the Idol format lately!!! Its cool!
what were they thinking with that forum. I cant belive I wasted my time on that site. Oh and what a great match! Telecom and TVNZ. They are perfect for each other. Both are managed extremly poorly.

I just registered and posted my first message. It's stupid! The moderator needs to read it first before displaying it on the message board. Idolblog is still the best NZ Idol messageboard around.
You think they'd let people put up anything they wanted, Duh... Sure it doesn't have the freedom of Idol Blog but it has a lot more at stake than idol blog too... Like the contract with South Pacific Pictures and FremantleMedia.
That is why Idolblog is the best Mavic - spontaneity and immediacy = Idolblog
and heck very minute amounts of posts are really offensive - so!
Sure there might be very few stupid posts here but one is too many for the official NZ Idol site when you have sponsors and advertisers to keep happy.

I posted my first message 30 minutes ago and I just went to their message board again and it's displayed already. I wonder if the message board is moderated 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

I would but TVNZ have to pay me. I guess the moderator gets paid an hour to moderate all the messages.
