Okay, we've had the thread in which we name Ben's autobiography or biography ... now it's high time his fans thought about what he should name his new band (since they're such awesome musicians and singers themselves!)

I think EASTERN STAR is an excellent name! Sounds good and the meaning would be so right .
I've been thinking, and not come up with anything better than 'Ben's Believers' - pathetic!

Anyway, at 3.00am I had what I thought was a brilliant idea - SOUTHERN CROSS!
I thought 'that's it - that's the one!'
I thought of the cross and being southern here and Ben always wearing his cross and its meaning to him. Also if (when) they go international - it'll stand for the Southen singer and his band.
Then I was listening to the radio this morning and in an advert Southern Cross Medical Insurance was mentioned! But then I thought, well, they care for our physical well-being, and Ben and his band look after our 'mental' well-being!
Anyway, from there, I looked up about stars in the sky in a book and found a group of stars making the symbol of the cross called CYGNUS.
Then while thinking on the theme of a cross, I though what about the name the Beckams have called their new son - CRUZ meaning cross!
So I've really been thinking overtime on this you can see, and educated myself at the same time!
I'm special. I have the Southern Cross on my neck made from moles.
I even have the little faint one but it's more noticable on me! lol

It's really a "backing" band ... I mean, he's a solo performer still, but he can't very well perform "live" with CD backing tracks for his entire career, can he?!
