... all rolled into one baby, because there isn't enough of us to have separate threads for each of these now.
I'm listening to: 'Turn On Me' by The Shins and 'La Cienega Just Smiled' by Ryan Adams.
I'm reading: 'Imperial Ambitions: Conversations with Noam Chomsky on the post 9/11 world'
I'm playing: 'Jade Empire' on the Xbox ... don't judge me
I'm eating: McCains Woodfire Spanish Frozen Pizzas. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Reading 'The Bourne Ultimatum'! Concentration needed still! Don't know how these books have got put into films - must be an aweful lot missing!
Really got into all three books, but be good to have a bit of lighter reading next!

Listening to - radio wise? Gone back to More just about full-time now. They play the music I like.
Listen to a bit of Edge Morning Madhouse, because I like the team. Sometimes flick over to The Rock now and again.

Listening: 10cc... Im not in love. my #1 all time fav. very nice song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTYrjtgU-44
Started on Bourne Supremacy now I've finished 'Identity. Really intriging and needs quiet time and to be able to take it all in. Often have to read back over bits, thinking 'now who was he' or something like that. But then realise that we're just in the position the characters are - knowing or not knowing the same as them. All works out in the end and makes sense, even If it would be very hard to explain. Couldn't wait to get started on the next one anyway.
Listening to - the new Matchbox 20 album! Loving it - the new songs as well as the old ones that I aready had, but still love!
First week out went to number 2 in NZ album charts.
Been loving the Lifehouse album too, but not quite so much as Daughtry and MB20.
.
Music I'm liking right now is:
'Over You' by Daughtry (of course)
'How far we've come' by MB20
'Into the night' by Chad Kroeger (from Nickelback) with Santana
Album I next want to buy:
'Exile in Mainstream' by MB20
Most visited web-site:
www.daughtyrofficial.com
Reading:
'The Bourne Identity' to be followed with 'Ultimatum' and Supremacy'.
Now I've finally brought the set, will read them again in the right order.
Didn't like the films though - not as good as reading the books, Jason not portrayed how I imagined. Well, only saw the first one!
Daughtry totally sound like nickelback...it confuses me sometimes haha.
Yep, they have been compared a lot.
My hubby kept telling me there was a new Daughtry song on the radio - and not 'Over You'. Turns out he'd been hearing 'Into the night' by Chad Kroeger (from Nickelback) with Santana! He was sure it was Daughtry!
Chad's voice is harsher/rougher than Chris's.
Im reading princess diaries 8
yay!
Been listening to 'Who we are' by Lifehouse! Sent to me by The Edge after I phoned in. Have to get round to the others, but really like this one and keep replaying it.
Reading Private Sector by one of my favourite authors - Brian Haig. Series of books about a JAG officer. Sean Drummond - great character, speaks his mind and very funny. Likened to books by Ludlum and Grisham. 4th one in the series I've read. Am waiting for the next one I've ordered from Whitcoulls.
Tubthumping - Chumbawumba or however you say it
I just ate chocolate which was yummy and stuff.

That'd be good! Are you planning to see them when the come here? My son wants to go. Wondering if he'd take me.
yes they got some real classics

wont be seeing them though. buy the t-shirt if you end up going to the Concert
Going off The Edge lately - well the music they've been playing. A lot of it sounds like you hear blaring out of hoons cars sitting next to you at traffic lights! Realised that even more when I washed my car with the radio on - and my car sounded just like one of them!
Only been listening to hear them play 'Over You'!
Think I'll revert back to More!
More FM rocks!!! ... especially the "late night love" time slot they have after 10.00 at night during the week
I even got them to play a Westlife track one day last week *grins broadly*

Glad to see Starshone has visited, will say hi to her in her thread!
Hi to Ev too!
ditto, i pop in and take a look for any movement then head off if nothing. Starshone is the heart of IB and must be top poster ever.
Lol same. And I haven't really had anything to post so yeah. And I don't usually come to this thread but I saw the comments down the side.

I'm still listening to Joe, but now waiting to hear 'Over you' instead of 'Home.
Just finished reading a book and I really got into, but at the end couldn't understand what actually happened. Even went to a web-site to try to find out. Heaps of comments, other people like me couldn't understand either, but some said they knew from early on.
It's Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane.
So now don't know what to get into next.
suspence to get you to buy the next edition book

Roger Whittaker: river lady, dont believe in if anymore, the last farewell, im gonna leave old idolblog lol. early 70's
reading: Ben C Vidgen 'State Secrets'. Ian Wishart conspiracy genre
Don't think there is a follow-up, not one of those with a series of books about the same character.
The rest of your message confused me a bit! Do I really read in the middle that you're leaving us? Don't do that! We need you to help keep this site interesting! Or going to leave early 70s? That's a long way off! I won't be around then!
Got into reading The Kingmaker by Brian Haig, one of my very favourate authors. All about JAG cases with a brilliant main character. One of a series about the same guy and his difficult cases.
nah that was the song 'im gonna leave old Duram town' by Roger W he sang in early 1970's LOL.
no chance of me leaving untill criticdude decides to pull the site. I cant be bothered going to frong. Im surprised IB is actually still running, but i wanna be one of the last posters if it is given the chop.
listening to: Nana Mouskouri... 4 and 20 hours
reading: 'the rag' Newspaper
That's good then, got me worried!
With you there, along with BIMI and a few others I hope!
.
Did he really sing about leaving Idolblog then.
I actually have a Roger Whittaker greatest hits tape or something like that, at the bottom of a pile that hasn't been played for a looong time!
I got out Westlife and put it on to play in the car - removing Daughtry for a break!
Good listening. BIMI has good taste in music.

Must say, that I don't actually listen to Daughtry all the time, do often have the radio on!
nice
Am reading 'The Forth Protocol' by Frederick Forsyth.
Listening to The Edge, because I like Joe and she makes me laugh!
They play 'Home' often too!
Ha. did they repeat the same song every 5minutes Lol. The Edge are well known for that. Maybe when hell freezes over they might have a no repeat workday
No - well not 'Home' unfortunately.
Thing is, when it's a no repeat programme, you can't expect to hear the songs you like very often.
Always the CD though I suppose!
Anyway, lot more I like that they play too!
Listening to: Glen Campbell... gentle on my mind
Country genre yay!
Different! Not so predictable as what I listen to.
Lol that was my parents music rubbed off on me. Thats when there was 2ZA, 2ZB and the music wasnt a big selection. but yes i love Glen Campbell, Charlie Rich, Charlie Pride, John Denver genre.

Edit: That should be "Ideas - A history of thought and invention from fire to freud" by Peter Watson ... I've kind of put it down anyway because I saw a new book 'Heat' by George Monbiot (my second favourite author) about global warming and Whitcoulls were having a 25% off sale so yeah ...
