New release in NZ is 'Daughtry' from Chris Daughtry . Chris was in the 2006 American Idol, one of the final 4.
It was recently number One in the American Billboard album charts. Just been released here.
Sounds have it as their CD of the Week and it's being advertised on The Rock as the Sounds CD of the week with a chance to win it. Being promoted as the fastest ever selling rock album in the states.
'It's not over' is the first single from the album, which is the song you'll be hearing.
Highly recommended. One of the best albums around - well - THE best as far as I'm concerned

'Home' was number 2 on The Edge Top 40 of the week last week!
You can now see the video for 'Home. It was only release in the States last week and is already topping Video polls there.

"Home' the second single from the album, was launched on More on Saturday - with it's first air-play. I didn't hear it as I was at work, but advised by e-mail from the radio that it would be played.
It's also on the Top 20 voting list on The Edge web-site. Haven't heard it played on there yet either!
Same week as air-play launch in the States. So we're not behind the times at all with this one!

Phoned up by another radio DJ at More (Tania) to ask what I liked about Chris. So chatted away about how I love his music, that I liked him on AI and that fact that he stayed to himself . That I love his album, etc.Then they played 'It's not over' just for me - again!

Decided to call it that because he wanted to keep his identity as part of it, so that people would know who it was. Chris Daughtry Band didn't sound good, so decided on just 'Daughtry'.
Goes with the front of the album simple picture of Chris with name of who he is - Daughtry!
