Chat: The Food Diary

Are you healthy?
- Do you exercise for 30 minutes [for 30 minutes - your heart rate is relatively fast] every day?
- Do you eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day?
- How much snacks do you eat?

Also, I thought we could use this thread as a food diary. XD We say what we eat every day [breakfast, lunch, dinner, in-between snacks]. I read somewhere that keeping a food diary is already like dieting because it makes you think about what you eat/indicates to you what your diet is like.
And we can also write down all the exercise we did on that day. Cool

Yesterday:
Breakfast - I was asleep
Lunch - One red dog Hawaiian pizza Shocked Laughing out loud
Dinner - none

Snacks - chocolate? crackers? Don't remember XD some stuff though.
Oh and strawberries. Mmm.

I don't remember the days before that Sad *starts doing this regularly again*

Breakfast: A bacon and egg pie on and a fresh myself with fresh up yeah from the bakery on the way to work.
Lunch: an oat cookie thing lol
Dinner: Pasta and meat and beans and this chocolate pudding that thingy made.
Snacks: an apple, a rocky road chocolate thing that was disgusting.

Bfast - :S Can't remember .... pizza?
Lunch - Rice, soup, pork, mushrooms
Dinner - Grilled Chicken wings [2], rice, chicken curry
Snacks - Tiny plum, pear, banana, slice of fruit cake

Edit: Forgot about exercise. ^,^ - the gym for an hour

Breakfast: Lollipop
Lunch: Sandwich, chips
Dinner: Um. Oh thats right. Scnitzel or however they spell it with salad

Today:
Breakfast:Bagel with avacado and pesto
Lunch: Sandwich and chips
Dinner: Pizza from hells XD and strawberrys (YUM)

In conclusion: Whenever I go to my friends houses I eat healthy for lunch. :party:

B to the fast [I tried ok XD] - Some chocolate cheese cake, some baked cheese cake, some chocolate expresso cake [mmm we baked a lot yesteday :regan:]

Lunch -The last of the shepherd's pie, a plum, an apple

Dinner - Lamb, potatoes, some spinach [ew], half a chicken drumstick, a banana

Exercise - An hour at the gym, 30 min walk back in the rain Sad

Lunch: Crunchy chicken sushi roll. Rice Ball. Venti mocha frappuccino from Starbucks.

Yesterday
Breakfast - Sausages and mash potatoes and a fruit
Lunch - Teehee: lasagne, shepherd's pie, rice and curry, some lettuce leafs/cucumber, chocolate cheese cake, christmas fruit cake, chocolate and raspberry cake, banana, gingerbread ice cream
Dinner - Shepherd's pie, tandoori chicken,
Snacks - cookies

Exercise - Hour of swimming

Today
Breakfast - Shepherd's pie, banana
Lunch - Shepherd's pie, mandarin?
Dinner - Shepherd's pie, banana
Snacks - cookies

[I single handedly finished 3/4 of my mum's second shepherd's pie today xD]

Exercise - about half an hour of tennis

probably nothing much else till Tea time coz i'll be on the run all day, no wonder my jeans dont fit no more. but will go for 2pieces of fruit to keep vitamin count, sugar levels up Smiling

random/ The Cafeteria lady who has the 2year contract at out Plant is super rich$$ because we have 160 employees and most go for fatty expensive food coz the work we do is very demanding.

Dinner: a pack of wholemeal rice uncle bens 2 min microwave thing.

snacks: fudge, eclipse mints, a bite of someone elses muffin XD

Exercise: Hsm dancing!!! Shocked OMGosh its so much better exercise than...anything else. But it's fun Laughing out loud So that makes it YAY exercise.

Exercise: walking around the mall for 4 hours and also carrying a extremely heavy chair for most of that time too XD

Dinner: Regular sized takeaway thing from Wok Wok with noodles in XD

Exercise: HEAPS (for me XD), walked up to the bus stop in 10 mins which was horrid. Walked round the city and then to get dinner again.

Today was my exercise day. XD

Lmao we were doing this at work tonight and my diet is really bad when I'm at work:

Yesterday:
Breakfast - Venti Mocha Frappuccino with whipped cream and caramel drizzle from Starbucks

Lunch - Long John Silver Large Chips and a medium coke

Dinner - Grande Mocha Frappuccino with whipped cream and caramel drizzle from Starbucks

Dessert - 1x Rheineck Beer (bottle).
LOL

and today:

Breakfast - Venti Mocha Frappuccino with whipped cream and caramel drizzle from Starbucks

Morning Tea - 1x Mini sausage roll and mini mince savoury

Lunch - 1x $2.50 cup of hot chips and Brambleberry Juiced Tea from Starbucks

Afternoon Snack (at 7.30pmish) 1x Mega Choc shake from Wendys + 600ml coke

Dinner - Yummy chicken meal thingy that my dad cooked with fettuccine (as you can see my best meals are when I'm actually home).

Excercise- Walking to and from work/starbucks/uni/lots of running around in my shop serving people.

Cost for 2 days of food = $35.90 - and I didn't really have that much, considering the beer, sausage roll/savoury and chicken meal were free. Hmmph.

Breakfast - Bread and jam, a lot of chocolate chip cookies
Lunch - I can't remember. :| I ate a banana after lunch at sometime ...
Dinner - 2 Microwave dinners: beef lasagne and macoroni and cheese; some of my friends' pizzas, pineapple, an apple, a bite of a snickers bar

Exercise - not much ... walked to beach with friends, from there walked to ava's house, and we also swam in her pool

I have to eat healthier because I'm just NOT exercising due to my work hours. There's not even a way I can work it in as I only take 20 mins for lunch

Thankfully, it's fresh berry season! YAY! Berries are easily worked into my day.

Breakfast - Milo cereal in milk, a kiwifruit [NORMAL BREAKFAST]
Lunch - Fried rice, leftover duck xD, kiwifruit
Dinner - Salmon, rice, corgets, potatoes
Snacks - A lot of chocolate chip cookies

Walked 30min to gym, 20 min on treadmill, dunno how long i spent on weights after that. Hour walk back

Snacks: 1 squiggle. 2 glasses of juice.

Dinner: Sausages and salad
Snacks: an orange, a honey icecream *drools*

Exercise: I didnt really do any set exercise again today XD.. I was walking around town with my nephew on my shoulders though and walked up some big hills so that can count XD and I was attempting to kick a ball with him.

Breakfast: Museli and yoghurt and a banana and orange juice
Lunch: Foot long chicken fillet sub with lettuce and tomato and cheese.
Dinner: Steak and salad
Snacks: I had a bit of chocolate, like 4 squares. an apple

Exercise: I didn't do anything really. I walked around a bit, went for a big walk with my nephew but I wouldnt call it exercise XD.

Lunch - chicken curry, rice, some lettuce leafs, a banana/apple/something else smoothie
Dinner - At La Porchetta - Mushroom ravioli ... so cheesy ..... couldn't finish it :S but i ate a lot of my mum's/dad's/brothers' food as well
Snacks - Couple of chocolate chip cookies, banana

I went to the gym in the morning - treadmill 30 mins, cross-trainer 30 mins
It was a 30 minute walk back home
I also had a 30min tennis lesson
In the evening, I walked for 30min to and from the beach and I also swam

Brekkie: two bagels with cream cheese and bacon
Lunch: ummm, I don't think I had lunch..
Afternoon tea: :$ ....Subway. Six inch Subway Melt on roasted garlic bread with lettuce, onion, gherkin and capsicum. Salt, pepper and bbq and ranch sauces.
Snacks: Vanilla ice (ice, baby) with raspberry filling. Small bottle of Coke. Glass of chocolate milk.
Exercise: Walking to and from town - 20 minutes.

Conclusion for the week: I eat too much Subway.
