Matt has gone done to number 6. Its a shame because he still hasnt made gold. And people thought he would be a knight in shining armour to save NZ Idol from becoming history.

That is really bad!! Guess there is not much point in NZ Idol 4 if people aren't getting behind Matt. I have heard his song on the radio once. That was only because he was number 1 that week and they had to play it in the top 40. I can't believe the lack of support for Matt. Why isn't Stables playing his song at least? He hasn't mentioned NZ Idol once since the show finished (that I have heard anyway!)
It is surprising that even Stables isn't playing it and supporting Idol!
Looks like that's the end of that then!
Would certainly have helped if the radio stations had supported him and played it! Very disappointing that they didn't - again!

What you say is perfectly correct. We have a really strange attitude in this country that it's not fair for the best person to win :| It's like in school athletics days now - they don't have first place winners; everyone gets a prize! People need to learn to be able to cope with losing occasionally, you know ... everything in life isn't going to go perfectly for you all the time, and we need to know how to deal with it. I pity the coming generations in some ways, cause they really are going to be stuffed ... they won't even be able to talk english properly to communicate with each other
