I went, the atmosphere was great, the seats were crap, one was broken and left a friend of mine out in the aisle watching, couldn't see that much and that was from row B in the grand circle (possibly the view was better from up higher, I could just see the edge of the NZ Idol logo) , also people behind us in row C and D told my daughter she couldn't put her sign up which had her in tears (hello!!!! sign was only up for about 15 seconds when Ben was on stage), well after walking/jogging the Addidas Auckland Half Marathon earlier in the day I wasn't putting up with that sort of cr.p and endeavoured to make myself heard to those crabby women(!) and told them they were at the wrong show!!! Still even with all that (and the sign went up for longer and higher...) we still had a great time. Lets hope there is another year of Idol.
Davey Havok with a k is a beautiful, beautiful man
I was standing at at one point my sister and I got asked to put my signs down, which I could understand, like through the entire performance and standing. It was quite hard to see there. But that was one of the last or the last group songs. But seating, and a child no less - some adults need to be a bit more understanding and tolerant. I mean, children get excited by seeing singers they like and like to support them with signs. Deal with it. I'm pleased with the way you dealt with them.
I know parents in the "mosh pit" were so unreasonable!and other people for that!lol when everyone complained about me blocking their sight I was like..Call Fair go for all i care!If people wanted good positions they should come early lol!But I totally loved this show!
Hi we were sitting across the ailse from you and your friend. Saw the seat and thought you had a rough deal. I loved the show. My daughter aged 8 got distressed by the heat, so I ended up buying water at $4 a bottle!!!! What a rip off.
I went to it..just loved it!the best show ever!well except for the outcome ofcourse!..but yes i was standing yup near the front..and it was so hot and blah blah blah!felt like I was going to faint!every1 kept pushing and a lot of confrontations with Matt fans and I..but yah i was goin so crazy and getin in the groove...but yes Nigel called me the "guy with the deck chair top on"..which was noice!
It was great. When I got there, the line streched from the doors around the corner, where I stood for awhile. When we got in, we were told where to go and went up a few flights of stairs to the very top.
As one of the ladies explained where we were going to sit, Rachel and Regan clomped up the stairs (they were in the seats area) behind her. I yelled 'Rachel' but she didn't see me. Anyway, I got my seats and blah blah it was good. Fave part was when Indira's mates were in the row in front, and they were yelling to Indira (during ad break). Indira jumbled out from the side of the stage, did some hand gestures and tripped/fell, and nearly pulled part of the set down. Opps
At the end, we walked though the lobby and I saw Spazz, Roar and whoever else was there. I caught Spazz's eye but looked away
Lolz I knw my legs were about to fall off!OW! and it was dauntong standing next to pple who wouldnt stop complaing!lol I was like "Call Fair-Go please!"...but still loved it!BEST IDOL SHOW EVER!
