I agree that the discussion here are more chat-like!  With a lot of 'Blogs' that have comments after them, there are comments in different places, more that one continuing discussion about each programme..

But it's up to us to chat on the new site, to make that chatty too!  It's only us that can do that! 

If we continue to chat there, hopefully it will make more new people see and want to join in the discussions!    We all need to do that make it a success and also so that we can carry on discussing the programmes we like - and have people to talk about them with!

Am missing the 'reply'  which makes for more of a conversation.  But we didn't used to have that on Idolblog at one time.  I remember when we first were able to reply, everyone was complaining about conversations going on all over the place.  We've just got so used to it now.

Will take time I guess to get used to different ways, but we've managed to do that with Idolblog every time it's changed!

Good point but it'll get there - the same thing happened when we started Idolblog. Once there's a critical mass of people there'll be lots of chat topics about TV shows.

Only a couple of *really* bad words are filtered out right now. We'll see how it goes it we add more words or not. The difference with Idol is that the swearing is at a person, not a character.
