I think that Matt, truely does deserves to take this out..why? because(as many others have said) he hasn't been in the bottom2 at all and everytime he sings he just lights up the stage and does a 120% performence..Indira is also a great performer but there's just something else about Matt..

I believe Matt deserves to win entirely based on his performance throughout the whole show. Correct me if I am wrong, but he did not get in the bottom two at any time, and also I recall Frankie mentioning that he had the potential to take his talent to an International Level. Matt has always performed to the best of his ability, and probably the camera is a bit overwhelming and perhaps he did not always have the right answers to the questions asked, but Indira is used to the spotlight so it was not a problem for her. I do believe Matt would grow to be more comfortable speaking in front of it, just like the camera loves him while he sings. He is a born natural!! I believe he should have been in the final with Toni or Becks, however, that was not meant to be. I just feel Indira has not got the talent that Matt has, So I wish him all the very best, because I believe he has what it takes to be in the industry, and he thoroughly deserves the win!!!
Who really cares about bottom 2 Rosita wasnt in the bottom 2 and did worse than Ben who was in the bottom 2 or 3 more then once. I CAN NOT see either Matt or Indira going international you can find them in any karaoke bar from cape reinga to stewart island. Seriously be realistic and state why YOU think he should win only and not use others opinions to back yourself up
Who really cares about international?
No-one in New Zealand goes international.
Even Bic Runga who's the highest selling NZ artist of all time hasn't cracked it overseas.

Indira takes the easy pop genre same 'ol same 'ol voice and thats it!

I disagree. Indira would have to compete with Hollie Smith, Aaradhna and Brooke Fraser. Rosita also has a new album coming out. All of them are infinitely better singers and performers than her.She hasn't got a chance of breaking those singers in the mid term.
Oh please.. and you really think Matt can compete in the Music Industry?..psshht!...and another thing, Rosita is no match for Indira!second album?..YEAH RIGHT..but yes in a seriousness i can see where youn are coming from and respect your opinion but all I'm saying is that Indira is Idols best chance to actually make it and bring the Nz Idol's reputation out of the gutter
Matt is different to what's out at the moment in New Zealand music. Indira is the same as every other RnB singer in new Zealand, except she lacks uniqueness in her tone, like Hollie Smith, or a unique style like Aaradhna.
I also have it on very reliable sources that Rosita is currently recording her second album in Wellington. She also wipes the floor with Indira vocally, she very rarely missed a note. Indira is pitchy.
I just think that Indira will be trampled by more unique and talented singers in her market. But that's just my opinion.
We never know what Indira could do .She could definitely prove to be a worthy contender against all the names mentioned above if given the chance. I reckon Indira is more than likely to compete against these artists and this will be a benefit to NZ Idol as well as it will prove that there are idols that are amazing and are giving other world known artists a run for their money. I honestly think that Indira is motivated enough to make it big in the industry and she will and i feel this from the bottom of my heart that she is worthy to be OUR NZ Idol who will make a difference. (Im not saying that Matt wouldnt. Its just that i havent seen enough of his motivation to make it big after the Idol is over, has anyone? If you have please please refresh my memory because Im starting to like him.)
But in saying that my Vote goes to: Indira. Why?
Good Performer, Trys hard to be the best she can be
Great at answering questions
Is always thinking about making a difference in the music industry
Always proves her critics wrong
Knows how to handle Stables
Brings something new to the show every week. It is always entertaining and good to watch.
Her performance during the Kiwi Special was the best performances in Idol history for me
And overall a genuine, nice, talented performer and person that has made the biggest impression on me this year.

I definitely agree with your comment. You can put Aroha's emotion-less face on my TV any time of the day just not to see Matt's toilet face on my TV.
Indira. Because she doesn't sound the same in all but two of her songs which Matt does, and she's going to look better on the cd cover, and she seems to want it more - but not in such the wannabe humble way Matt tries to make out he does.
He seems so fake and cliched.
I didn't want to be the first to say it but I agree that Indira would make a beautiful single cover her skin colour is so beautiful i'd like to see a dark red or burgandy(sp) background with the title and name being a brownish gold colour with the text style being kinda like branches or vine like. It's hard to say but it's in my head lol

When it comes to originality neither of them have it but because indira changes around her songs a little makes hermore original for me so I want her to win. It seems matt sings the songs exactly like the original except for a few key changes and that's pretty blah for me.
Indira seems to really want to make it in this industry so I think (and this IS only a thought) she will be more successful even if it's a mediocre success
I really don't care who wins because they both suck. The finalists doesn't have the 'x factor', the 'it', the 'charisma', the 'edge', the 'likeable' to succeed in this business. People who voted just wasted their money because it's not like they will get something good at the end of the competition.
Indira all the way, I want you to take it out 'girlfriend'. Beautiful personality and stage presence.
Thanks to Idolblog we have kept up with progress..unfortunately we have missed a few NZ idol shows. this is the first year we have not voted, so we cannot comment on the ones that have got through at the expence of others with higher ability....
However we are putting votes through for MATT..the reason....is that Matt sings and performs right from the heart and soul..
We wish him all the best...GO HARD MATT....

I'm not fussed now. The first year I was SO wanting Ben to win. Last year I wanted Nik to win but wasn't upset when he didn't, I was just "oh well". Now I just don't really care - the single will be crappier than Rosita's one (Ben's one I still like, even if it was a bit cheesy, I love hearing him sing it) and the dream is over.
I'd go along with your feelings there.
The first year it was so competitive,. Everyone you spoke to anywhere seemed to either support Ben or Michael. And yes, it was Ben I SO wanted to win!
Last year, though I wanted Rosita to win in the end, for most of the series I didn't really care, it didn't really matter one way or the other..
Now this year, I've been between Matt & Indira lately, quite undecided for a lot of the time. People went who too soon who should have stayed longer. Would have liked to have seen more competitive last few shows.
I do think that an Indira single would just fade away, but that maybe Matt with a different voice may have a bit more impact.

I'm back to wanting Matt to win, as I have for a lot of this contest, after a short lapse.
Looking at them singing a few songs, decided that Matt is the one I would like to hear more of and would enjoy listening to on the radio more.
Indira wouldn't wouldn't be much different to the winner last year, and Matt would certainly be recognisable and good to listen to.
Love all the support from Matt's home town, Indira's support seemed to come more from her church and friends.
I am just gutted Becks is not in the final
I hope she gets a chance when she comes back to sing, to show why she should have been there.
I like Indira more than Matt, but wont really be fussed who wins. I am watching the grand final to see Becks, Kali and Toni, not either of the two remaining contestants

After tonight's performances I will vote for Matt, simply because his singing, is alot easier on the taringa's (ears) than Indira.... She tends to struggle with the notes, like OMG her Mariah Carey performance, She better hope MC doesnt see it... its that island twang...ewwwww.

I am not fussed really.
However. I probably like Matt more, because I like his voice and not Indiras. Plus Indira has bugged me forever. And I feel that her personality is somewhat stilted and pah. (Yes I know Matts isnt much better, but tell someone who cares).
In saying that, I think that someone who took something from the house should not get the money/car..

For me, Matt is the best option of the two remaining.
I want Matt to win. I like his voice it has a nice quality to it and I've been impressed with his performances through out the Show. Matt's performances are more polished and more professional than the other contestants. I would buy Matt's CD.
I'm going for Indira now. For some time I did want Matt to win, but his songs and performances haven't changed or improved, and I've decided that his song style and voice aren't what I really like anyway! Also, I've just got fed-up with watching the same thing! And as Frankie said, he hasn't even been performing up to his own previous standard.
Indira has a good personality and works with the audience, and has a good singing voice. Though agree she will be like another Rosita winning!
It was important I think, to have someone different win this time. Early on I thought Clinton had that something different and was one of those that thought he could be the one to take it out! Unfortunately not! Toni also would have been someone I would have liked listening to again and would have been a winner with a different style.

Music Industry will be making a CD for Matt and they know it will sell really well! people have shown in their votes that they want the big voice up there. Also the fact that Matt has not visited the bottom2 yet whcih is how New Zealand want it.
