Chat: Accessory to the fact

Submitted by chevy on 27 June, 2006 - 1:00pm.

The family of three month old twins Chris and Cru Kahui, who died from unexplained injuries earlier this month, will go to police in their own time, a family spokeswoman said today

http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3713933a10,00.html

this is really starting to annoy me! two young boys die of suspicious injurys and the family dont feel like talking to police, what the??

im Maori myself and in my opinion theres is NO WAY this should be allowed! especially when two have died from suspicious injurys.

Okay i beleive we should give them time to grieve, but your 3-days mourning are OVER!! time to haul them in for interrogation.

i dont know where this thread will go and im sorry if i offend other maori on IB. someone has blood on their hands and they should be brought before the Law immediatly!! please discuss with me.

I was listening to talkback today and a caller rang up and said that they should arrest the whole family, that way someone is likely to break down and spill. ..Dunno if thats a good idea since obviously a majority of them will be n/guilty but surely something like that has to be done, its been going on for a while now.

If it doesn't kill you, you've failed.

Rightly so.

It takes a sick person to do something like that to a baby. Macsyna or whoever is disgusting - she should be hung. What kind of mother leaves for 12 hours, comes back, finds her children dying and remains silent? Retard.

Good luck to them in jail if they get caught.

im highly disgusted with whoever that PIG was that hurt those 2boys Sad i hope he/she gets caught, i hope he/she gets chemically castrated so they cant infect the world, i hope he/she hangs untill they are dead! (the convicted offender)

i learnt that the boys died of a blunt instrument to the head at full force Shocked

i apologise for my attitude but being subject to violence in my younger life (when it was okay to give your kids a thrashing) i am strictly against violence.

It's a truly horrible thing to say....but here's hoping they don't have anymore children and the cycle of laziness and depravity dies out.

Maori gang leaders have issued threats of utu, or revenge, against family members covering up the death of the Kahui twins.

It comes as politicians and the Prime Minister condemn those responsible for the babies' murders.

Ngapuhi leader David Rankin says Auckland gang members have approached him wanting revenge on the family for stonewalling the police investigation.

He says it is likely the Kahuis have been warned through connections with the underworld

geez!!

This has really made me realise that the law does state that you have the right to remain silent .......  I thought that just meant until you could get a lawyer before the cops could ask questions ...... then you would have to tell all........ but they do have that right ...... so when does that change ???   When it gets to court ??  But there have to be people arrested for the case to get to court !!  They may as well arrest the whole lot for accessory to the fact !!  It's all so weird :(  And two little babies are silent forever Sad

Sir Barney 27 June, 2006 - 9:51pm
If it doesn't kill you, you've failed.

Cases like these make you wish they brought back Capital Punishment, especially for crimes against children.

No matter what the reason is for the shroud of secrecy, those babies deserve justice and it makes me sick that these retards aren't coming forward with information or better yet ANSWERS as to what happened to those poor boys.

3 lousy months is all they get while their killer/s get to lax out, have a beer or two, maybe smoke up some P and watch The Simpsons while Beth cooks them some eggs.

I'd like to know what is going on in the minds of the boys' parents because I know that if I came back to my daughter battered and bruised someone's head would be knocked off!

ergh! :@ 11 people are involved! 11 sad, derranged people who are staying silent. They should all be charged with murder.

How could anybody stand by and watch two gorgeous, helpless little babies die?

How can 11 people who surely know what happened to Chris and Cru say nothing? :|

B A S T A R D S all of them.

Something has got to change. Some many of New Zealand's babies are at risk and are harmed!

This whole case makes me so angry :@
