Police Check CCTV Footage For Attacker
Wellington Police will today pore over CCTV footage from ATM machines in the Newtown area, as they hunt the man responsible for sexually assaulting another man on New Year's Day.
It is hoped an identikit picture which shows the attacker's distinctive chin tattoo may soon lead to an arrest. He is described as a Maori in his mid-20s to early 30s, of solid build, six feet in height, and was wearing a 50 Cent rapper sweatshirt.
Detective Sergeant Zane Smith says the victim is coping with his ordeal. He says the 21-year-old is at home with family and friends but is still distressed and shocked by what has happened.
Detective Sergeant Smith says the assault was prolonged and terrifying for the man.

There were some DODGY guys out that night, I'm not usually scared of anyone but it was creepy wanderin around on my own - one guy shouted out to me something about wanted to shag me ... *shudders* ... the only thing a girl said to me all night was "Where is the coatcheck?"
Yikes, not that I'm going to go into a moral panic over an isolated incident but maybe I should be a bit more cautious ...

the Weather has been liek total kaos lately here. for the last 2days all we've had is just one big grey cloud covering all the Horowhenua with drizzle. on the good side the local raspberry, blackberry growers have been growing big-as super size berrys that we've been buying. very yummy!
