Anthony really was the real deal. His first album outsold Casey's by miles, i think exactly the same thing is going to happen to Nik and Rosita. I know that I will definitely pick up Nik's album, but won't even look twice at Rosita's. That must have been the worst decision vote in idol history. And yer Ricki Li definitely deserved to at least be in the final. But I think Anthony would've been the right winner.

I just suprised myself and bought her song off digirama, hell it's only $1.69 I spent three times that on my lunch!
By the looks of digirama and coke fridge, its actually getting easier to buy music legally online a lot easier, I was very impressed with digirama, you can even just buy one song at once!

I don't think it is just the females that do poorly. I think the thing is and Idol winner is not necessarily a Popstar. For example of Aussie Idol 2, Casey only won because everyone didn't want Anthony to win, I think even our very own Admin felt that way, he just wasn't likeable. From the (lousy) pool of competitors left most people seemed to think Casey was the most worthy and so they voted for her every week and eventually she won
. And for her debut concert in her home town of Sydney she couldn't even fill a 1000 seat theatre just a few months after she was crowned.
i actually think that anthony was an awesome person and was one of the best idol contesetants in history.
Yeah I think NZers would have seen that he is actually quite likeable if we got behind the scenes stuff. Cos we didn't even get their performance intros till right at the end so you didn't see much of his personality. He's a real crack up when you see video clips of him on last years inside idol and stuff

The only best thing that came out of Oz Idol is Guy Sabastian - I reckon no outsiders will win the OZ Idol unless they are pure breed Aussies! Anthony is Italian and had all the goods but typical australians perfered Cassey! I really dont think its a sexest thing either! Kelly Clarkson is a world wide known muscian who has a great career! If Rosita keeps in the media eyes and produces great singles she could be the next Kelly Clarkson too!
Typical Australians don't prefer Casey better anymore though. Anthony is still doing really well in Aussie, and possibly trying the overseas market in Europe in the next while, whereas she is struggling to have any where near the popularity he has.

Similar thing as with Casey and Anthony - she won but he's whipping her arse now. Sad really, that large girl's don't do as well in the industry.
Can you put an "I'm not sure yet" option?
