On Friday (14th), I went to the filming of the final proformace show.
When we arrived, TC was handing out IdolBlog stickers, and he noticed my IdolBlog badge.

After having a quick chat, I went though the metal dector test thing,
then i went down a ramp to join the long line.

TC came down to line up with Admin,
and Christina Hobbs who has acted on Shortland Street was behind us in line.

At 6.30pm, the doors opened and slowly the line shrunk.
When i got near the door, I got excited when I saw a screen on the roof which was playing the NZ Idol animation thingy.

Once i was in the studio, I saw the set was hidden behind the seats that towered upwards. As soon as i went arround them, there it was.

The NZ Idol Set looked small, but was big and small. I guess it was a shock to see it in person.

When i was in my seat, a few minutes later Admin and TC (Rachel and Regan) came over to see me. I met them and my brother talked to Rach about Ben coming out of the IdolMan (The episode before Idolised 05).

They went back to their seat.

Have you seen that Vero ad? The one is the shopw where the bull comes in and the man breaks the vase?

Well, that guy was producing NZ Idol, yelling at us to shut up (jokingly),
and chasing late people right up to their seats demanding a note.

We filmed some cheering shots,
then the judges came from up on the stage.
Jackie did a little 'bum' wiggle with her back to the croud when she came out. Paul showed off his jacket, whcih was gold in the inside.
Frankie acted like Frankie.

We filmed the begining twice,
and then we got stuck in.

However, after Rosita and Nik sung, and Dom greeted the Judges,
there was a muck up. So when Dom says 'That was your final 2!' and points to the stage,
they are really not there at all.

You won't see me .

This is because there is a giant crane like swivel camrea in the studio, in front of the right half of the audience.
I was right behind it, and it swung round to film people arround and behind us, but it never looked at us :(.

The elimated contestants were in the croud, just up from the NZ Idol logo on the wall.

During the breaks, the judges went up and down talking to the auidence.

On one occasion,
the sivel camrea sung just above Jackie's head and she qucikly scuttled back to her seat.
