Well I ended up going to the Wellington Party.
There weren't that many people there.
For some odd reason I wasn't even on the door list so the guy wasn't going to let me in but after he talked to someone from The Edge they let me in! - Thank god! The strange thing was there were only three people on the door list!! :S

Believe it or not I had never been to Readings Cinema before!! Great Cinema and chairs are really comfortable!

I sat next to BIMI!! (The first Idolblogger I have ever met!) and then me and her went up to Chevy to say HI! - It's great to put a face to people on here.

I didnt get to go to a party coz I live in a hole lol

The Auckland party was awesum!!!!There wasn't that many people there but it was so much fun!!! and i got free stuff lol. i got the top 10 cd single, a pluto cd, a rosita is my idol tshirt, and my favourite a NIK IS MY IDOL TSHIRT!! all for free from the edge!! I LOVE THE EDGE!!!Chang almost dropped the ps2 and singstar pop prize off the side of the railings into the drop pit(YEA GO CHANG!!!)it was a rockin night and everyone had heaps of fun and about 75% of the room were Nik fans(YEA!!!! hard out) there were sum Mikey fans dere( u know who u r!!!)and they screamed when they saw him on the red carpet.The night was heaps of fun and im so looking forward to next yr(if there is a next time) ooo and i luv the edge guy who looked like stephen(a guy from school) when you looked at the side of his face.He was awesum.Can't remember his name lol.

I'm a bit disappointed that Nik didn't win but it was still a great night and I still love him.

Well. Where do I start? lol

I got there at about 5:15 with all this stuff (signs and tables etc) and the Edge people had just gotten there and we had to wait until a movie was over before we could go in (it turned out there was no-one watching the movie ) and so I set up the little Idolblog table with Tshirts and badges and stickers

And then this Hoyts guy helped us put up the Idolblog banner (which was really tiny compared to the Edge one ) and I gave them all Idolblog stickers and told them all to join (and NOT to go to www.tvnz.co.nz keyword NZIdol) and *some* of them said they would...

And Zoe got there at about 5:40 and just...waited there with me... as Lyndon (the Edge guy) and other Edge people ran around doing stuff while we were all ready... and then at about 6:00ish people started coming in.. and then they started buying stuff...but it didn't last.. almost no-one else bought anything for about an hour and a half (when my friend bought a badge)...

So Zoe and I missed out on the singstar which was unfortunate...but yeah...we were cool anyway and Jess helped us give Idolblog stickers to everyone who came in

And then Ahmad and his wife and his little boy came! And his son was soooo cute! He had these little flashing shoes and he would run and then stop and look at his feet because they were flashing....and then he'd shake your hand and kiss it and he was just awww... and Ahmad brought little Idolblog name badges for everyone and we got to meet miss_chaos and she was really cool and Lisa E was there and she was great (we gave her a ride home lol)

And then I was the ONLY person there with a sign! It said STEVEN and it had the IB microphone on it and there was heaps of free chocolate and wheelies and...um..hair products lol and then I would have won about 5 cds...but I had to give the answers to all my friends because I couldnt win more than one myself...

And heaps of people were cheering hard out for Rosita...not many were for Nik, surprisingly enough :s and then heaps of people followed Zoe and my example and cheered/whistled/screamed for Steve there were probably about 80 or so people there...

And Zoe and I were yelling out STEVE all the time during the show and holding up my sign and then it finished and Lyndon was really cool and it was awesome and we all had a great time.

The Christchurch party was pretty good. A reasonable turnout - probably around 30-40 people. There was a lot of Singstar for the first half an hour or so and then some Idol Trivia. Cam was one of the contestants and he won a 50 Cent cd which he gave to my brother (thanks Cam!). During the ad breaks there was more Singstar which was kind of annoying because people were picking lengthy songs and at the normal length so we kept missing the start after each break. :@ There was a lot of food being thrown into the crowd (mmmm, mini Moros). At the end The Edge people were handing out free cds and I scored myself Pluto's album
Anyways, it was generally a good night. Thank you Admin, TC, The Edge and Wheelies!!! :party:

Christchurch was soooooooooooooooo fun! I went with my friend Sam and yeah we sung I believe in a thing called love on singstar and begged the edge people to give us free stuff and then we watched the final WOW IT WAS SO KEWL GO ROSITA!!! And then we sung let me entertain you and then we had to go but yeah it was really kewl and I am kind of on a high and I will soooooooo go next year!!!!!!

Well- the Dunedin Idol Party was ROCKIN! I went with my mate mel, we both wore our Rosita is my idol tshirts and jeans (decorated HARDOUT with idolblog stickers). There weren't loads of people at our party- 100 maybe.. man, it was SOOO cool! I invited 12 of my friends so we had a whole row to ourselves- YAY! Lisa E, Miss_Chaos, K i m, zoe, little red and ALL the other dunedin idolbloggers were there too (you should have heard Lisa and I!)

First we played singstar, I sung second (scar, missy higgans) with my mate Emma.. It was real embarrasing though cause they shoved a mike in our faces and EVERYONE could here you singing! I went outside to see kim (who was selling idolblog stuff), shes all like "go back in there, You need to do singstar!!!" Im all like "I already did!" Kim's like "What song did you do?" Im like, "Scar" Shes like "CRAP!! You were SO good!' Im like "YAY!" lol- it was funny!

After Singstar we watched Shortland Street... THEN IT WAS NZ IDOL! WOOOOOO! I was so excited (shaking), we saw Soph! I got a nivea for men pack- LOL! Kim kept yelling out "go steve" (she even had a sign!). Man- it was a great show!

When they annonced who'd won I went mental!! YAY!!! I've lost my voice now- it was SO worth it!

I'm grinning so hard- my mouths going to fall off! Yay! IM going to go sleep now WOW!!! yay- GO ROSITA!!! ROSITA IS MY IDOL!!! :party:

Anyways, I'm totally looking forward to it! If its any good as last year its going to be an awesome party! I'm taking my Steven-Michael-hating friend. I'm going to so annoy her.

Sounds like it should be a good night. Dad's the only one who's going to be able to give me transport, so guess who i'm going with if I can get me some tickets? With Dad! How fun huh! Actually I have really got him hooked onto this show! - He's even recording the episodes!
It's going to be weird going there, I have never met any Idolbloggers before....Don't know if i'll even end up talking to any of them!! Maybe I should wear my Idolblog sticker?

will it be too crusty to make signs? i'll be in wellington and have no hope in hell of getting to the actual show... but if i make a sign no-one will see it so it'll prob just be a waste of time... *thinks about whether it will enhance other party-goers pleasure experience of watching on big-screen if her large sign obscures their view while watching Nik*
