That show is funny man. It doesn't seem helpful for parenting at all, but it's just hilarious.

Whatever happened to just smacking kids on their @$$es when they were naughty?

They be good and behave and you can let off some steam at the same time.

I love Super Nanny.

Lmao at these quotes

  • Daughter: [to Jo] My friend thinks your a b!tch ... and so do I!
  • Jo Frost: It is basic expectations, Marianne, you do not punch your mother!

  • Mother: You won't have any friends to stay over all of next week.

  • Daughter: I don't care. I hate my friends.

That girl had me in hysterics when she was doing her Gimme Gimme Gimme impression.

Oh I so agree! She was such a cow on that show! I mean yes like alwyas the kid(s) tend to improve near the end of the show but I don't think I kid like her can change that fast.

Supernanny drives me insane. :@ My little brother insists on watching it every week which means I can only watch Sing Like a Superstar during the ads! So I record it and watch it later. :s

Sing like no-one is listening

Who watched this last night? Man, those children were naughty! They were swearing at their parents, and beating them up! SOOO rude!

I blame it on the parents though! They were argueing infront of the kids! Good example guys! I think the Dad has a pretty good idea of parenting, apart from yelling at the kids all the time, but the Mum WOW! She just didn't wanna discipline them at all! She lets them do what they want, then moans to the Dad when he gets home, and THEN yells at him for disciplining them! Make your mind up lady!!

All of these shows are lessons in decent parenting.

Lesson 1: Give your kid what they want and they will yell and scream for the rest of their lives.

penname 9 September, 2005 - 10:48am

Oh come on, how could you not love Supernanny!
That mom was soooo sweet last night! That kid was a cling-on.
It amazes me how they let their kids get that bad.
The Dad was so cute how he took all Jo's advice on board.
I love the way every week all the kids are sad when Jo has to go home! Shocked)

Resh. 9 September, 2005 - 12:50am

The first few episodes of these shows were cool. But those shows rapidly became very boring for me. It's the exact samething over and over again. You can pretty much predict what's going to happen next.
Those shows have deffintely put me off having kids! I'd rather not deal with the temper trantrums etc... Never really liked kids, though that could be cause i'm an only child and haven't had much experience around lil kids.
I feel extremely sorry for the parents, even though most of the times it's their own fault for the way their kids have turned out. I have no idea how they deal with their kids on a daily basis - I know I couldn't.

It's fun to have kids though. Maybe not 'fun' but it's a life-changing experiece. Especially if you have a set of twins.

Hahaha. That's what I hate about NZ TV shows, the people on them. They should at least give that woman a stylist or a make-over but make sure that the stylist is not from NZ Idol.

Swayer 8 September, 2005 - 10:36pm

I reckon! They should give that nanny woman a whip. Haul some brat ass. Make up for that ass hair they have her shock into place each morning.

All these shows are just boring. It's ridiclous, and probably goes to show how crap tv is now. I seriosly doubt most families are that bad, come on. You don't reckon these things have been tweaked in the slightest to make it look real?!
