It's SICK that Rongo's in the top 9! People HAVE to stop voting for him!
Seriously, most people vote for him because he's a representation of the average Kiwi...that's so sad! HE HAS NO STAR QUALITY! He possibly has less than Ben Lummis.
Thing is, there are thousands of guys like Rongo. I've seen them at school talent quests...busking on the side of the road...walking around with their guitar, singing loudly and thinking everybody's captivated. He's average, average, average and I couldn't tell his voice apart from the rest of the wannabe Ushers I've heard.
Let's get ourselves an Idol that the rest of the world won't cringe at when they see them on an album cover!

Not trying to be mean. But this is a discussion site and if everyone kept their opinions to themselves then there wouldn't be much of a discussion going on!
And I don't know about you, but I personally don't just want to hear/talk about the nice things, it's great talking about the good and bad. Just because someone expresses a not-so-nice opinion about a contestant doesn't make the contestant a bad person. Of Course Rongo has talent, he didn't just make it how far he did in this competition without being somewhat talented.
yous are soo mean, Rongo has great potential, he could have taken this competition if he wanted to, hes got the looks, the voice and the personality to win what ever he wants, he may not be in the competition now but hes deffinately not about to give up on his singing dreams.

The rumour is not true. There are no children and no one has come to him to say they have his child..........................................yet.
Rumours are best heard from the horses mouth otherwise they turn into chinese whispers. Rongo hasnt mentioned anything about children to his family whom he is very open and close with.
