Good to see Ashley on Studio 2. After what she said there, I think that once the disappointment's over, it will be the best for her now.
She's had a fantastic experience, but can now get on with the career she'd planned - to study to be a Drama Teacher. She still plans to keep on singing and hopes to have an album out in 4 or 5 years.
Good luck to her, much better in the long run for her I'm sure!
She a lovely girl and we've all been lucky to be able to enjoy seeing and hearing her for a short time!
That's great to hear! I think 4 or 5 years will do wonders for her ability to perform with conviction. Not to mention her voice is already really good, with time it could improve more. Good luck to her.
I cried yes I admit it I screamed I was like "NOOO!!!" then I burst into tears :'( my mum was having trouble trying to hold back her tears. I didn't watch the end of idol I ran to my room in tears.

It was a lot of fun meeting Ashley today. The fact that I was wearing an "Ashley is my Idol" shirt made the meeting more memorable. She was smiling and looking relaxed around her fans. I so hope she can stay around for another week and get another shot at expressing some of that relaxed happiness on the stage.
