I heard something on the radio this morning about Nik being at some festival thing in the Wairarapa at Labour Weekend ... does anybody know anything more about this?

I just came back from my cousin's 21st in Auckland.Nick performed at the party tonight,he sang "Lets stay together" and dedicated it to my cousin..he sounded great!then he sang "September" and told everyone to go up and feel free to dance with him..so some people went up and had a dance with/around him it was fun! ..me and my cousins went to dance and..we were so close to him...he's so hot!lolz..I got a few pics and a video of him singing "Lets Stay Together" from my phone.After that he sang Happy Birthday to my cousin and called her "baby" and gave her a hug hehe..so cute.My mum told me that my cousin was related to him on her mums side,which I had no idea about.. thats why I thought it was random that Nick was there hahahaha...but it was cool!

I dunno what was up with his hair though it looked weird haha..he was wearing a Hat aswell so I couldnt really see his hair, but from the back it looked weird lolz..but he's still hot!

I was gona go get a picture with him but I couldnt find him and we were leaving..oh well...just thought i'd share hehe.

Just before I got out of my car this morning, Solid Gold were talking about something for Starship Hospital. I wasn't really listening, so I don't know where or when or anything, but at the end I heard Nik's name mentioned, so he's going to be appearing somewhere for Starship. Just a heads up for someone who may want to find out more details and pop along. Sorry my information is mostly useless. lol

I'm fully in support of you Nik, having met you at Idolised last year and seeing you again on the Finale of Idol 2 today, I think you, Rosita, Ben and Sela are hard out awesome people and you are all  going to go so  far in the future no matter what anyone says.

I so hope that Nik gets a record deal from BMG to release an ablum or somehow brings out an ablum because then hw would get the pub that he incredibly deserves.He has such an incredible talent and it needs to be shown off.Who agrees with me?

I watched my Top 10 episode again last night, and thought to myself that actually Nik looked kind of out of place compared to the other nine that were on stage at that time!  He looked too good to be singing with them, somehow :|  I wish he could be "out there" a bit more cause he's got a great voice, I'm starting to realise, and he deserves a shot at making it in the industry ...

Anyways, I haven't be on for like AGES, because our computer became..shall I shall terminally ill so mum and dad and to finally give up and get a new one, thats besides the point,We have got to keep this fan group going for Nik, so just because someone may not post anything in here for a while you can still just post something like hey or an idea you have to support Nik etc, he needs to know that he still has tonnes of support out there!

So funny!  Last night I was at this Quiz Night thing, where we were in teams and had to answer questions in about ten different questions.  Anyway, in the entertainment section, the very first question was "who was the runner up in the 2005 NZ Idol?"  LOL - I was jumping up and down going, pick me, pick me!  Well, not really but I was excited cause at least I got to answer ONE question!  ;)  LOL

I've just finished work and I'm just thinking what would have happened at the studios a few hours ago.....how did our Nik get on etc...........well let me tell you! I was not there this time but I'm still pretty sure that he did real well... as well as he did since his first audition, a standout . No disrespect to any of the other contestants,especially Rosita who's a really lovely girl [with a load of talent] but, for me, it has ALWAYS been a one horse race! The people of NZ looking for somebody with that X factor....Nik Carlson from Masterton......there's no doubt. Or is there? From day one, the judges have demanded this, criticised this; but did not keep that same consistency with the other contestants. Because Nik made it look easier, or because he's more talented, it seemed to me that they [the judges] over compensated...but at least they were referring to his musical ability, no such luck with other critics which I'llnot name this time , who every week simply attacked Nik as a person rather than commenting on his MUSICAL performance! Come what may on Monday night, it's all about who's prepared to $ financially back up their fav. singer.....but to me, and maybe to a lot of you out there, this Nik, is truly something special, with real potential. Most of the songs he performed in this Idol series, I did not really Know...having  been impressed with his versions I curiously looked out for the 'original' ones out there....and I've got to be honest with you....Nik was much better every time. Not only did he never compromise himself throughout this competition but he really did it his way, choosing risky and a little unknown songs....putting his own 'spin' on them and ,also like no other in the NZ Idol history, he offered great  variety and visual performances to boot........no way to be even compared to Rosita & co. [We know Rosita can be very impressive, but that is only in that 'type' of song]  Could you imagine Rosita singing Punk rock? Reggae? A little bit of 'Darkness'.. or actually 'moving or dancing' to the songs? There're people out there that have voted for Nik because he's cute, or they liked what he was wearing.....I'd like to urge the more mature Nik supporters to show the rest of NZ that a Nik 'win' could ensure us[the kiwi public] a new exciting talent to grow and grow in to an international star, a potential icon, to show that by winning 'Idol' you can actually 'make it', just like the Americans. Let's face it, you need somebody with that real X factor... that means talent, rythm, looks, stage presence, versatility....Nik has it, against all odds he HAS made it to this final, [ without the backup of religious organisations, extremely large families or ethnic groups]....I very well know that the tall poppy syndrome is alive and well here in NZ...lets show this country that we believe in real "world class' talent by supporting it from the VERY beginning instead of waiting for it to get there...which may never happen. In many many Idol comps. we see the simpathy votes unfortunately choose  "temporary talent'', I truly believe that Nik's albums and live performances would attract thousands of fans worldwide....a total package/ the X factor/ talent&looks&stage presence.................call it what you like but I believe in it!

Awesome Nikizmighty fine! Yes, it seems we'll be swooning together!!! Gee, I can't believe they've sold so many so fast ... seems like its going to be a GREAT concert! By the way Selarox, when you've put together that cunning plan, best you let us know ;-)  Goooooo Nik!!
