I was very excited when i made it through to the 2nd round. I had a good time but i  was really upset i didnt make it in to the top 60. I had people like dominic supporting me. When I was talking with dom and he said that he was dissapointed i did not get in to the top 60  and i deserved to get through that made me feel real angry that the judges did not think the same as what dominic had said to me. Dom is really sweet and i was glad he was supporting me. There was a lot of people that said i deserved to get in the top 60. I felt that i was COMPARED to MICHAEL MURPHY by frankie stevens. Oh Well the only judge that  got me real mad was paul! IT was a great experience been able to audition and meet new people and hang with dom (my god he is sweet, a nice guy and very good looking). I will be back next year to audition as dom wants to see me back. so if u c me on tv look out for Halie Gwatkin from taupo. I was really dissapointed i never got through but  know what i need to do to imrove my self and having a croky voice did not help. IT was hard but very fun. I still feel upset that i never got through. I will miss the camera's and the people working for the idol show and i do and will miss Dom. It was good i had liz shaw there for me when i was upset. I do think that the judges was harsh on what they said about  liz and jeremy. The judges did not say that much. Jacki was impressed how i presented my self. franki said no and well paul was the only person who i wanted to have a go at i never did and he was only telling the truth and doin his job!. He said he can't believe i got through to the 2nd round as he dont think i can sing a note in tune. Well paul i hope 2 prove u wrong next year when i come back.. I will be better than next year. I know my feelings got hurt but paul, jacki and franki but what do you expect? they are only doing their job!
Halie Gwakin :P :-) :) man i was really annoyed that i never got in the top 60. some of the things the judges said really got to me. I really enjoyed meeting the people that i did and the best thing was hanging out with Dominic Bowden and getting photos and hugs from him.  When i never got in the 1st thing i wanted to do is hit paul for what he said, i hope what i said to the judges on camera get on tv and there is some really funny things that i said on camera. i really enjoyed the whole experience and i will be back next year. When i told Dominic i never got in he told me i deserved to get in and he wants to see me back there next year... Well if i get on tv it will be cool. The people that didnt get in i know how u feel as i was one of the people that never got in  :P I am in the creme mag and on the add for nz idol 2 which rocks
