I was at the auditions the other day and there was that chick that sang that Aretha Franklin song (RESPECT) got to audition again. She was in the top 32 last time. How can she get to audtition again, I thought there was a rule about that kinda thing.

yeah, i really don't want to see her again and i don't think she will make it. She didn't last time, she won't this time. She is dreaming and besides if she really cares about singing then idol isn't the way to go.
It would be disappointing for her if she didn't make it this time. But it's kinda stupid though because you'd expect that she will go further.
Does anyone know if she got through again?

Emily seemed like a nice person but i don't think she will get much further than last year. i mean when she sang respect she basically shouted the entire song.
If I'm one of the judges. I'm not gonna let her move on to the next round. The New Zealand public have spoken last year and we don't want her in our Top 10. Including those people from Top 24.
I liked Emily. It was really touching when they showed her small town up north.
You can re-enter as long as you're not in the top 10. So those who were in the top 60 last year were more than welcome to re-audition. I don't think its unfair, if they want to re-enter they should be allowed to. They're judged the same as anyone else. No advantage by being there last year.

Are you sure it was Emily? I was under the impression that if you were in the top 24 then you couldn't re-enter this time around.
Christine was definitely there re-auditioning. Only our top 10 couldn't re-audtion.

It's really weird because someone a few weeks ago told me here that people outside the Top 10 can re-enter again. If Christine from Top 24 auditioned again then I think the big girl from up North can re-enter again. The same rules with American Idol but only for people outside their top 24 or Top 32.
I thought so too. But to be honest if your in the comp and you got through, don't worry cause she wasn't good enough last time and she won't be good enough this time either. If it's the big girl that sang that song last year then really...........You don't have to worry
