Went to the show in CHCH today, the lions were very impressive!
Craig was tired but he still made the show worthwhile
Loved the white male lion the best, he was gorgeous.
Wow, no-ones on this forum anymore!! Anyway, just wanted to say that I finally got to see Zion Wildlife Park, did the cub experience! A lion cub thought that I was a tasty meal! Craig wasn't there, in Africa getting cheetahs, but more than worth the 32 hour plane journey and 4 hour bus trip from hell!! Spent $400 in the gift shop and had the best time ever!! I love New Zealand and want to live there!!!
That was good to read.:) Glad things seem to be going on as normal at the park, and progressing - as they must be with Craig going to Africa to get Cheetahs!

Poor Craig, he's had a bad run but he means well.
he's not the best travellor as he has a tendency to overdo the travel thing!
But it's great that he's not letting the K*r*n thing get to him, does anyone know how lioness knows so much?

I went to the park today, absolutely amazing despite the fact Craig wasn't there and half the animals were with him
but then again it was great!
I'm so jealous!!! I would so love to be able to one day go and check out the park for myself!

Yes I did :) Last weekend in fact. I took my two nephews down as well. It was quite a good experience. Would have been cool if we'd been able to touch at least a cub
and Craig didn't really do much interaction with the cats cause he had a plate in his wrist from injuring it with one of the lions recently :( but it was still GREAT to see the cats up close!!! :)

Oh, is anyone in Wellington going to head down to the Stadium on the weekend? Apparently Craig is going to be there!!! Not sure exactly what he is going to be doing, but I imagine he'll have some cats with him
... well, I'd hope so cause it costs $25 to get in apparently. If anyone knows anything more about this, can you please let us know before the weekend

Does any one else think that they should show more of the serval cats?
Yes I do. Actually here in France they've just begun playing the 1rst Series (well, guess its the 1rst) when Gandor arrived at ZWG.
I've watched about 10 episodes and I still haven't seen any serval cat...
I read several times that the 2nd Series is said to be much better than the 1rst : can you tell me why ? What are the differences between the 2 ?
Unfortunately, I am sure we'll have to wait a loooong time to see the 2nd Series in France.

Well the second series has more animals, eg: the new tiger cubs, and also has a new show opening.
Something I really liked was seeing Craig in Tailand with the elephants and the tigers and the snow leopards.
It is kind of sad that it only has that many signatures, especealy since the majorety of signatures were from Austrailia and signed because my aunty is creative director at ARN, I think I'l get it out there a bit more because I KNOW that Craig has more supporters out there...

I'm not sure about the high profile northland thingy, but Karen's suing him for the property rights act and that should come any day now, and the Rob (I really don't like this guy) Reace case is already taking place...
But I'm saying nothing more.
I was suposed to go to Zion park, on the `big cat encounter` tour, guided by Craig on Feb 6th, but the on the 4th, a woman called to say that Craig wouldn't be doing any tours for a few months and that we could either: have another guy take us, or whait a few months until Craig was ready.
We chose Craig of course, and the lady said that they'd be in touch in the next two months, and they havn't.
I swear, if I ever come face to face with Rob reace, I mean I can't think of any other reason, she did say he had `a bit too much to deal with` and the story on mr (la-di-da) Reace came out on Jan 26th.
hmmm...
That's a real shame, that Craig can't carry on with his work as he would have been doing. Think I'd still have gone though. Still get to see all the big cats, and still be supporting the Lion Park by going.
Trouble is, if the tours aren't going on, think of all the money they'll be losing. How on earth are they going to carry on - financially!
They are still doing tours, but Craig is not.
I know I should go anyway, it's just, we've been through so much as I am to young, to go on that particular tour and just when we thought everything was ok...
That's good then that the park is still operating as usual. Just Craig keeping a low profile it sound like.
Certainly hope this trouble doesn't affect the work he's doing there and the lives and future of all the anmials there.
Why is it that every time someone mentions him these days, I feel like crying?
I mean, it's not like he's done anything that would make me SO depressed that I almost scream at the next person who comes anywhere near me or my territory(school, my room etc), it's just this something sadness...
But on a better note, I'm sure that it won't hurt the animals, and I'm also sure that Craig WILL keep them, after all, Mr Reace probably wouldn't be very popular with Craig's supporters if he got them!
By the way, Smeagoll, I did some homework, you were right about Karen being the victim in this, but I still stand by what I felt before. so I think they're both victims in this.
niethe Craig, nor Karen are bad people, just a little screwed up at times, I mean that in the best way I can though, everyone has their own little... Screwyness(hehehe) I grew up to fast and am overly caring and trusting an a paranoid B***H at times but that's what makes me, ME.

My poor baby cat Attilla died on tuesday. Hit by a bollock farmer with a tractor. I had her since she was 3 weeks old and brought her everywhere with me. Work, shopping, she used to sleep with me every night. I'm in bits. Have done nothing but cry since it happened. I know this is nothing to do with the thread that we're on but I wanted to get a little grief off my chest.
