I can't believe no one feels the need to discuss anything about the first episode of the new season that was on last night

Yes it is 8.30! I really hoped it wasn't going to be 7.30, because that's the time Coro St and Atlantis are on! I can only record one thing!

Ok, in case you don't already know, Mcleods starts again on 20 April :D Yay!!! :D And it looks like its going to be an another awesome season! According to the article in the new TV Guide, Alex has a fiancee :shocked: and apparently the Nick and Tess story has a bit of a way to go yet too ;) Oh, and Regan makes a comeback :p

I saw the front of the following week's TV Guide when was in the supermarket queue this morning, but didn't get a chance to pick up up to read it. I'll buy it next week!

We have another new character appearing this coming season ;) and I think he catches Tess' eye too, which tells me that maybe Nick doesn't come back after all :cry:

Most definitely ... I know what you mean LOL Many a time I have found myself so caught up in the "drama" ... I have cried, though, more than I have laughed I think while watching McLeods ;)
Oh i remember everyone crying when Claire died. Everyone watched it, then.
I, and many others i know thought that this show died after the passing of Claire, most of which no longer choose to watch it anymore. I still watched it, but it no longer had the 'zing!'. Also with it often missing weeks or months because of production problems seemed a bit budget, didn't and still don't really know what was going on there.
It did drop off a bit a while back. But the last series was really good and certainly had the 'zing'!
The only 'zing!' i got from it was when the tv blacked out. Otherwise, i don't seen no 'zing!' nowhere!
Another interesting snippet from my glance through next week's TV Guide whilst standing in Star Mart at lunchtime
... Aaron Jeffrey (Alex) has had the charges against him "downgraded" to 'threatening to harm' AND the character has a new love interest in the new series ... which seems to have filtered through into real life apparently too, according to the short article ;)
Ok, in the latest TV Guide magazine, or whatever it's called, there's 12 things you didn't know about McLeods :) Now I didn't have time to remember them all, standing in the middle of Starmart while I was scanning the article
but did you know that Michala Banas originally came from Wellington!!! Yeah!!! We can claim another one - woo hoo!! LOL
And I didn't know that Harry (Marshall Napier) and Becky (Jessica Napier) both had the same surname ... and both came from Wellington too, so they have to be related, don't they?!!

I didn't know they were all from Wellington but I knew they were all New Zealanders and Jessica Napier is Marshall's daughter. *thinks* Yeah I'm pretty sure father and daughter...

Meanwhile, still working up the courage to tell Tess that she’s her sister, Jodi is far from happy when Dave (Brett Tucker) accidentally spills the beans. “Dave assumes that Jodi has already told Tess and inadvertently ends up giving it away,� says Rachael Carpani, who plays Jodi. “Telling Tess definitely doesn’t go the way Jodi planned.�
Ooh, sounds VERY exciting!!! And typical for Dave to put his foot in it ... again ... He always seems to do that! LOL

Harry really is horrible! :( So glad for Jodi - finally happy! :) Hope now that Tess has seen Nik, she be able to stop dreaming now and carry on! Looking forward to when she hears what Jodi has to tell her.
Poor Alex - and Stevie! Do hope he won't be gone for long. Will they ever get together?

I guess they've left a lot of loose ends to be tidied up in the next season ... probably just as well, else we wouldn't want to watch it! ;) LOL
Never though of that! I just thought that as she'd seen him at last she'd be OK, because before she couldn't get through the doors to him. But now you've made me think - did they find him, or is he presumed dead with his body not found, then the dream may may make her think that maybe he is actually in hospital! Oh dear, wish we didn't have to wait until - whenever - to find out what happens next............
To me, when she woke up, she looked like she thought he wasn't dead after all, not content with the fact she finally got through, because she was following a coffin, but when she got through the doors, he was in a hospital bed...
