General: The Christmas Tree Thread

Submitted by Starshone on 25 November, 2007 - 9:58pm.

I want to see your Christmas trees. Laughing out loud

Here's mine:

Watermelon (my sister) made the angel. I say we have a Gryffindor tree!

And this is my bonzai tree, with two hearts, a bauble, two tiny bells, and a Pikachu:

And this is my bigger bonzai tree that I've had since I was six:

Bad angle, I know, but it's decorated with keyrings. Laughing out loud At a glance, two from the Philippines, one from the Gold Coast in Oztraaaaaalia, one from my apartment complex in the States, one Giordani and one Old Navy (brand names), a Spice Girls keyring, one of those half-and-half best friends ones, and one from Michigan.

So let's see your trees!

This is not the thread for this. Smiling But...

It's not as much about the model of the laptop as it is about the specs. My sister has a Presario but it runs slower than my Dell Inspiron because I have more RAM. Check how much RAM your laptop has: Most laptops come with 256MB of RAM, which is the bare minimum to run Windows XP and will run, but not particularly quickly. And if the main thing you want to go faster is your downloading, that is definitely about your connection rather than your computer. Broadband > dialup.

A bit later than I intended but I finally put my Christmas tree up last night. Laughing out loud It's so pretty and Christmassy. Sticking out tongue I love it! I should take a photo of it tonight cos I have like 2 photos left and then I can get my film developed. I can scan it next week. :santa:

Yay, photos! Laughing out loud Hee, you still use film Sticking out tongue

I know, look who's talking, the photography student Sticking out tongue but I'm going digital next year. Mostly because I'm 1337er on Photoshop than I am in the darkroom.

Lol yup. I like it. Laughing out loud The only thing I don't like about my camera is that the photos always look further away than they were actually taken. My sister and I borrowed my sister's workmate's digital camera for MCR though and we got some printed off last night. Not as good as film. We're looking for a digital camera to buy together though cos they're better for concerts really with the zoom and stuff. And the anti-blur thingee would be really good. It's a shame we didn't have that for MCR cos most of them are blurry and stuff cos of all shoving/moving of the band. There's one completely perfect adorable one. And the lighting is really cool on quite a few of them.

I like the way that the old Ibloggers are popping in here -
