wow i got to work right thru christmas,two days of, used all sick days up,includin holidays,work till the 24th back to work on the 27th,work thru till 1st back at work on the 2nd,to earn peanuts, that right, throw peanuts at the monkey,so you not the only one in the zoo sweetie,there is the odd peanut grabber out there thats still on 25percent tax (......)the car wof due,motorcycle parts still in the shop,no medical insurance or income protection the appendix is not covered by acc,cause its not a accident and i have a loan that has 33percent interest rate which due in 2weeks,and i gave a 5ooo.oo dollar a week job up on a drilling rig ,to pursure a long life passion in motorcycle mechanics as a adult app and i got a lecture from my mito manager,so what makes me get up in the mornin for me,its not the money thats for sure,passion for motors i think....................but that does sound like a dirty tricksome firm might do................its got me thinkin now.........dj

Im of the suspicion that CHH has gone round the backdoor and gotten some of the tax they paid given back to them Hmm...
we got our annual bonus of $821 payed out to us this week. problem is its been hacked to pieces by the taxman, we have been taxed at the top rate of 39% SS code when it should of been taxed at 33% M code. now we've only gotten $448 when it should of been close to $558 give or take 20points. Now myself and the CHH accountant are in a big debate as to what tax rate we shouldve been taxed under
yeah i was thinking about that. ive already clocked up 39k since March taxyear so may have slipped to teh SS bracket, thus taxed higher
now my child support will catch up and drown me lol

Fed-up with big businesses - here to list my 4 winges!
1) Want to change my Warehouse Card to a different version. Went instore and told to phone the 0800 number. Tried that a few times over a couple of days - and had to hang on - and on - and on, before hanging up. Eventualy someone spoke to me and said they'd send a form out. That was nearly a week ago and I still haven't got it!
2) Decided to join up the More FM website as they have a competition to win $5,000. Filled in details on Friday, but received no password. I phoned on Monday and was put through to someone else and had to leave a message. Still no-one has got back to me! So I still can't be in to win $5,000.
3) After all the trouble with Xtra, told they would donate to a charity and to register name of charity you'd like them to donate to. E-mail said vote from Monday - yesterday. I went there yesterday and now it won't be opperating until Wednesday.
4) Really fed-up with all the spam messages coming through every day since all this trouble with Xtra - still getting them daily!
These are services these companies provide and want us to use - and look how difficult it is to do just that!
xtra bubble is a total disaster! apparently ihug are rubbing their hands taking on fed up xtra customers lol. To me: it is as though we have gotten a backwards low-budjet service and have lost the better service. I dont know where the hell they're getitng their logic from as Telecon is the 2nd richest NZ Company with plenty$$, its not as though they're about to go broke!

Times are diff now with big Corporates forever cutting down on staff numbers obviously paying less$ in wages but then putting twice the pressure on a skeleton crew who just dont give a dam no more because they're had a guts full of the double workload. We have a saying at work "paid by the hour" we do what we do for our $17 per hour and thats it! dont expect nothing else unless we start seeing the clolour of ur money.
Our Manangement put up all these 'production charts' to try stimulate competition between the Shifts, as in: who can make more product than the other. We totally ignore the charts as if we do beat the other shift we've found we get absolutely NOTHING for it haha! yeah right we are just gonna work hard out to try beat the other shift so we can get nothing for it?? lmao! The Plant (factory) get more product out thus get richer$ but they dont pass on anything (even something little) to us for their extra windfall thanks to us? they think we're stupid lol

Late yesterday afternoon - being the revised day Telcom said you could vote - I went back to vote, the message was still up saying that you'd be able to vote from Wednesday afternoon' - but still not open for voting!
Phoned More again , got a nice guy who said they'd had a lot of problems lately - mainly with Xtra customers! Finally got password, logged in couple of times OK. But now being told 'e-mail address not known'.
Need to phone again, but really had enough of trying to sort out problems this week!
And I know what you mean about non-English speaking people - that's what I got at Warehouse and wondered if he knew what I was asking about anyway!

Phoned Warehouse again and got another guy with an accent, but he asked me all about my account, and I could hear him typing things in, and then said he'd send me another form out. First guy asked me nothing except my address.

How difficult can it be to get a Credit Card? Yet youngsters seem to just get them sent out to them without even asking sometimes. Those who can't afford to make payment once they use them!

Uni Students, now before i rant it out i agree there are some excellent students who do go out for a good time and let loose, do some 'silly things' in the name of fun -thats great, even i encourage that
But then we have Dumbass Students who rip up the street, burn couches, burn Cars, throw bottles at Police, verbal abuse to members of public, list goes on..... Then theres the Emergency services that get tied up Fire, Ambulance, Police. They couldve been out catching drunk drivers, stopping Pub brawls, arresting gang members, arresting rapists etc.
IMO those students who were arrested for riotuos behaviour should be automatically 'given the boot' from Uni, no refunds for fees and have their Passports cancelled or siezed. They can pay dearly!

I would fully support the students there. It was pretty much a normal Saturday night until the police showed up in riot gear and started shoving people off the streets, then everyone was like "oh hey, they expect us to, so let's riot!"
And also, what were they thinking not putting the liquor ban on the most densely populated area of the student ghetto anyway?
I agree. Students really need a good place to let loose. Next time the Council should fence off Castle street and keep ALL Emergency personel out of that area to prevent Firemen, Police and Ambulance staff and their Emergency vehicles from getting bottled. (stuff.co.nz) too bad if it turns to shirt, they're on their own LOL!

Yeh, well the TV ad shows Palmy as a Student City. Doesn't portray it very well for anyone else who may think of living there though! Gives a bad impression for 'normal' families!
Unfortunately, they're not all like that - not once they've been into the drink! But those who do cause trouble gives a bad name to students in general!
Though I know I work with some very nice students, nice ones on here too.
I know you get trouble from heaps who aren't students too. But students seem to be the ones that dominate in Palmy anyway, probably because there's so many of them!
Often it's the drink to blame, and where there's a lot of young people together - like a university - the 2 combine to have things get out of hand at times!
TV3 60Minutes. i know this is not very Christian of me but after watching that UK Vet treat that poor beagle dog cruely punching and very ruff treatment, man im in a very bad mood with people who miss treat Pets. very angry!

TV is useless tonight
It's useless every night - most night lately we put DVDs on!
Good chance to catch up with a lot I guess.
I did watch Ultimate Force last night (Monday) and will probably continue to. Also Coast Watch.
Would watch Atlantis, but still watching Season 2 on video.
Rest of the week - well do watch PUS of course, that's all during the weekend.
Then Getaway and Castaway on Tuesday. Will probably put on Rich List as it's in between, but hubby not keen!
Now the only other thing I watched the rest of the week is gone - being Prison Break!
So all Sat night, half of Sunday night, all Wed, Thurs and Fri - DVDs!

Boycotted it long ago when I found out for a fact that so many of those situations (early on anyway) were set up and edited to make things look not quite as they were! Know it happened in a number of situations locally! Bits not shown or something not shown that was said, etc. Just to make it look bad for some, to make for interesting viewing and making the programme look like it was finding out things - that weren't really there if shown honestly! Know also it damaged reputations for a while anyway, of people and caused a lot of worry for them and their families - all in the cause of sensationalism for a TV programme!
the Vitamin C Laboratory testing side of it was good to see what actually contains Vitamin C and what doesnt of all the products available on shelves Ribena style.

You can't imagine how frustrating it is when no sound comes out and you can't say anything!
Having got rid of the flu I had hanging on for a couple of weeks, now got a cold, bad throat and can't talk - at all!
Hubby went out and I recorded Prison Break for him - but wrong side! Couldn't tell him all about it, so had to write a story, and try to explain in scribbles, who everyone was who was doing everything!
Tried to make a phone call to explain why I wasn't going to be somewhere, but nothing came out there either!
Then yesterday, not only could I not talk out loud - but couldn't here either as the computer went funny!
Well join the club, I had to go to the Dr's today - had been feeling 'off' and with back pains and aches at the tops of both legs, nausea etc. and then noticed I was running to the loo more often than usual - and he thinks I might have picked up some 'virus' thing. Fat lot of use having the flu jab then
so when the test results come back I've got antibiotics 'back pocket' as he put it, in other words get them IF the results come back positive.
Still I'm still alive and as Dad used to say 'where there's life there's hope' but I do feel NAFF, NAFF, NAFF as Craig Revell-Horwood would put it, but I tend to shake things off pretty quick and will have soon forgotten how NAFF I felt knowing me.

How awful for you Loyal, I have NEVER had that happen yet, and would simply hate it, although I can do quite fluent sign language but that would only work for people who could understand it though. Great for when one has their mouth full though.

went to the Pub-1 met these girls i knew, i escorted them down to Pub-2. Everything going great then i seen 4 guys argueing next thing one falls to the ground a big scrap starts with these Rugby dic;kheads all their mates start jumping in. Bouncers throw out 2 couzzie bros who caused it while trying to hold back other guys. fight ends up outside with people getting knocked out lying on the ground bloody scene, the stirrer big-mouth guy who caused it was getting his head stomped on by 3guys trying to put the boot into his head. \dont ya just hate it when this crap starts. even in small towns and its always Rugby jerks who cant handle their piss
is there a better Pub i can go to where everyone gets on? im so over idiots wo cant handle their Alkyhol
I leave bars at about 11pm ... you avoid nearly all the young people and the trouble makers that way. The bar guys will remember you too because you come at the 'quieter' times ... it's cool to know the bar guys and girls.
Oh, and no good decisions are made after 2am - go home (I saw this on a telly programme and totally agreed).
yes i know most Barr staff in all Pubs. i can walk in, as soon as they see me they're pouring my coke+raspberry and have it ready when i reach the Bar lol
i do them favours sometimes by driving home their paraletic regs, they give me free drinks

I've got a baby (girl) kitten now - naming it Helen - and hoping to get its little brother - naming it Harry - tomorrow - the de facto couple owners of the mother cat that had four little kittens (five but one died at birth) two male, two female, have been waiting 2 weeks for one lot of people to decide if they want the other little boy, the other three are taken - one male and the two females (I've got one of the females of course). The other little male left would make a great little playmate for the little girl I have now. Actually the lady owner - she's about to have a baby in 2 weeks - wanted me to have it then and there but her partner went and rang the people that said they were going to take it, or I would have scooped it up then and there to come home with the little darling I've got now, and my friends both said they thought I should have just ignored her partner and taken him anyway, and they would have just had to tell the people they were too late, but being polite me I said "Maybe you better just to be sure" when the partner said about ringing them, even though later I wished I had taken it too. I'm a sucker for anything tiny and helpless!
She's like a little mouse, running about, and with a little dot of a tail, and has warm milk - 10 seconds in the microwave - and room-temperature kitten formula food.
She will never replace Jayde, of course, whom I still feel very sad about as she was so special, but she (and if I get the other one and I hope I do) will replace the hole left by Jayde and since I'm getting Jayde's urn on Tuesday it will be nice to have that in memory of her, sitting on my TV, but mentally healthy to have "life" in the house again.
This little one is a lighter tabby than Jayde was and with a big stripe from her little head right down to the little tail and then two little stripes either side of the big one just on the head stripe area and then little leopard spots either side of the stripe down the little back.
