Oops, watch me forget about this thread again. >> Lately I've been all addicted to this roleplaying game (RPG) thing where you like write a character (...or thirty-six, as one person did at last count, but I think by now he's on forty-something) to write stories with other people's characters. It's great, but not brilliant for my social life/sanity/poor, neglected thread.

And photography's pretty much the only thing I'm not really enjoying. XD Stupid freaking camera's LCD screen died the day I finally went to use it and now I'm dead. (And using a school camera.)

No one seems to like photog atm lol. Are you doing the reflections of ourselves standard? Im doing silly analysiseseses now and I have no idea what Im writing! Its pretty much full of crap connected together with long words to try and sound smart haha.
Sucky about your camera. We havent even started doing photos yet...all written stuff so far. Im not sure whether to do digital or dark room for this standard. Im thinking a film on each cos Im not good at deciding XD
I like going to assembly when it goes on for ages and it means I miss first period if I have something crappy period one! XD
I'm enjoying it! Probably because I'm up to messing around in Photoshop now. We're doing this exercise thing about "formal abstraction" or something, so I took photos of instruments and sheet music. XD

I like the writing part of photography. Im sure thats how I got good marks last year lol cos my internals were all E but as soon as no writing I go down a mark XD

Aww I hate it when they turn out completely how you didnt expect/want them to!
It was weird cos I wrote down my expected marks/mock marks etc and for so many of them I had the right combination of marks in a topsy turvy order. In saying that though, I must say I was very happy with my results.
Dont worry about it too much anyway...you passed better than most people! And this yr you will do exceptionally well and prove how silly L2 was!
So I'm considering swapping photography for design.

Money mostly. and lotsa novelty things.. like socks. People love giving me novelty socks.. I just don't see how they don't realise that the only time I wear them is with running shoes, which I only wear when running, which is obviously not particularly often
I also got a rather cute little treasure chest thing, hot earrings, and a "contemporary" bible (I feel cheated. There are a million bibles in this house.. I so didn't want another expensive one that could have been my Christmas money
). Lotsa chocolate too..

Prizegiving went rather well. I came off with $150 of book vouchers (all spent now
) a plate, and two books. I think seven things total

there is two kinds of people those who think they r street smart and those that r naturally bright and gifted and have everything going for them,im just wondering can you figure out what star sign a person is by the way they write 2 me you sound like a leo please prove me wrong....but you have a hypnotic way of writing....i readt this article by jude dobson how she got this award and how important writing was...to me jude is a national icon....i read these free booklets she gives to the community and think its wonderful if thats that the type of writing you r going for good on you...as for me im just your average joe in a musical street smart world ......dj

No leadership positions for me and I feel like most of them just went to a popularity contest, but I'm determined not to let bitterness get the better of me. So I don't have a leadership position. So what? I have my debaters. I have my magazines. I beat out a couple of girls I don't really like in media (oh my god I'm mean). I'll probably get onto the Digital Information and Literacy committee. I can probably get prefect and citizenship by sneezing (wow, and I'm arrogant too). I have cake and a dinner with Mrs. McKenzie at the end of the year (...well, now that Harriet's in the class, I'm certainly not going to get any prizes for Latin). I can do whatever the hell I like in music. Year nines will not possibly be able to mistake me for one of them because I will be in mufti
Today I saw off Prongs at the airport. She's going on a six week exchange to France. It was weird. I told myself I wouldn't cry and then I didn't even get a goodbye hug. Hmm.
I'm more gutted at the moment about a friend of mine who's moving to Christchurch and I can't go to her farewell party because I went to my other friend's birthday party last weekend.
