This was so plain to see...
How many times did Nik get immunity? lmao! get saved by the Judges x_amount of times then end up #2? funny. New Zealand actually said complete opposite to what the Judges said.
That was the most 'wrong' thing about the whole series! Liking Nik or not has nothing to do with it. Just the fact that he was only in the final because the judges put him there - going against what the public votes were indicating week after week.
also the fact that the Judges gave Steve 'the raspberry' just about every time he sang. and for no apparent reason except for silly things that anyone wouldve just let go?? Geez!
Judges preferential treatment of Matt was wrong too about his sore throat thing etc etc. if youre not there in full form to win then may as well give in. I support Matt yes but, its a competition.
After all my complaining through the series, the final was actually really good - and the winner turned out to be deserving after all - not a judges pick!
Now what was wrong with the series - Well has to be the judges first and foremost! Well, that and the immunity!
One week they said they only picked on performance of that song, then another week said they were looking back as what had been done previously!
Jordin waffled on with hardly a constructive word - well, unless him saying that Emily sitting down and getting up was good, is worthwhile to observe!
The other 3 loved just about everyone. In Eliminations often sent home those they'd just said they'd liked the most!
Immunity was stupid - having something to keep someone who may have gone home, hence possibly seeing someone going who may not have been in the bottom 2!

Picked Ben in Idol 1(of course), then Rosita in 2, then Matt in 3 (goodness knows why) and now Joe - even if it was Ben for half the PUS series!

yaya for Jordan Luck hahaha! he sounds as though he's drunk-parraletic
Forgot all about Jordin in my raving about the show elsewhere! His singing performance was certainly better than any of his performances as a judge!

OK, that's interesting, probably came across well there because all the crowd was getting into the song too! But do you agree that his performing was better than his judging?
Funny you saying that because I thought Matt sounded really bad in the studio and so did the judges - for once - and that Nik's first song sounded good. My daughter said on TV she thought Matt was good and Nik sounded bad - and she's certainly no fan of Matt!
Did Joe actually sing a 1/3 of that song??

but yes he missed cue on his first song and stuffed up badly halfway. well done on getting this far dude. No one predicted he would get to #8

Before we get to the final, we're all wondering how the winner will be chosen! The producers/judges haven't told us - and they should have!!
Well on the radio this morning, Joe was phoned up and asked about it. She didn't sound well, her voice bad and didn't even sound like her. Hope it gets better by Sunday!
Anyway, she's found out there will still be a bottom 2 and one will be chosen to go through by the judges - as usual, to be in the top 2!
But said she still doesn't know how the winner will be selected - if it will be voters choice, judges choice or there's even a rumour of it being who the other contestants pick!
Before we get to the final, we're all wondering how the winner will be chosen! The producers/judges haven't told us - and they should have!!
for the sake of fairness i think Judges should do the elimination.
