I read your link on kyahsjourney
All of this drama must have made Ms Sinzy forget that she married her man -
gosh that made me laugh amid unlaughable things -
I couldn't point it out there though -
as most of the time I just *swallow hard* and *gulp*
such an unbelievable nightmare for all of the family -
and Sinzy powers on and so does Kyah - bless her
That's tragic!
Like a member of our family! So feel for them all. What else can I say!
I know Idolblog would be the last thing Sinzy is thinking of, but sure she would know our very best wishes are with her and her family - and Kyah of course.
Always dreadful to hear about, but of course affects your more when it's someone you know!
Just been reading some of kyahsjourney! Heartbreaking. Had to stop. Reading how their life's changed so much from happily newly married with 3 lovely children - to this nightmare they're going through!
There we were not so long ago, saying how lovely the wedding photos were. Do hope it all comes to a happy end!
It's been nice to read the updates Thanks, I did feel beautiful and lucky and every other wonderful thing that day lol.
Sadly we've received some bad news and I really was in two minds about posting it seeing as I'm never here anymore as is anyone else, but I've shared a lot in the 3 years I've been a member and in particular, Kyah. She's pretty much grown up on here so it seems fitting that you're aware of her latest challenge.
I won't post details as some may not wish to know but if you are interested, I've created another livejournal which will hopefully be updated daily.
http://kyahsjourney.livejournal.com/
All my love to the few regulars that are still hanging on - I'll probaby let this website retire now. There's nothing else left to say and I'd like to remember it for the all the good times I've had.
In the third photo, you can just see my ever so proud dad!
We're currently looking for a *good* photo hosting site that has everything we want without forcing people to sign up to view, so once that's up and running, I'll post the link and you can see ALL the pics... including the unflattering (double chin, mouth open, eyes closed, boozed look, etc...) ones!
Just came across this, nearly two months later. You all look fantastic and congratulations 7Sins. Kyah looks just darling in almost a matching dress to her Mum's and your dress is to die for.
You look beautiful - and what a lovely, lovely family you have! You must be so very proud and happy!
Gorgeous photos - every one of them!
Thank you so much for putting them here to share with us!
That day you must have really felt like you did rule the world!
The screens were awesome! I figured if we were going to get married inside then Marilyn and Judy had to be my backdrop
I want to do it again! LOL! My dress is still hanging up in the lounge waiting to go to a drycleaners and I'm racking my brain trying to think of where I'll be able to wear it again... hahaha!
It's a shame that Kyah was sick - we didn't get too many pics of her as she kept yelling "no!" everytime a camera was pointed her way! The ones we did get were either far away or she had a face full of snot. Really charming that one..
I always cry at weddings *snnnnniffffffs* - you look so radiant Sinzy
Thanks for sharing yet another major milestone with us xxxxxoooooo
And I adore the Marilyn and Audrey background screens
It was perfect! Upon reflection, I wouldn't change anything - not a single thing!
My dad cried when he saw me (he had no idea we were getting married) and he just looked amazing! He got to walk me down the aisle and he was just so proud. My boys made me so proud - they looked so wonderful and complemented me perfectly. Kyah looked so beautiful despite having a major cold. Seeing Jason waiting with the celebrant was simply the most romantic thing ever. He looked so handsome and I could not stop beaming lol!
It rained so we had to come up with an indoor plan, my mother missed the entire ceremony, a friend had a tantrum over the surprise as she wasn't prepared, Kyah was really sick, we ran out of beer... but they were all so insignificant.
I have married my soul mate and I got to do it in front of all the people that mean something to us.
Best wishes 7Sin and Envy -
remember that the secret to a happy marriage remains a secret -
and you get to spend the rest of your lives together trying to unlock that secret together .......
It's TODAY!!!! I haven't text you because I imagine you are busy as hell and have enough going through your mind at the moment, so this is just to prove that I am not a sucky friend and that I was thinking of you on your big day
I have my fingers crossed that it all goes well and if I don't hear details by next week I will bugging you big time for the goss *could not sound any gayer if he tried ... but still opts not to call you 'girlfriend' and snap his fingers*
Wedding pics here please when things go back to normal.
Who now will take me to strip bars and give a commentary while I cover my eyes? Who?
At the time you wrote this, guests were half an hour away from arriving, the ceremony was an hour away...Kyah still hadn't turned up, I wasn't dressed and I realised Jordan's pants were still at home - a good 30 minutes drive.
I'm currently putting our CD collection on the PC and I've just got to Dale's funeral songs...
I'm going to play 'Father and Son' by Cat Stevens at the wedding as a tribute to him and my dad and it's making me bawl just thinking about it.
Man, death sucks! Two years on and it still really, really sucks.
Bah..
Kia kaha stand strong What we do is all take a look at the photo Albums of passed love ones then laugh, joke and chat about good things we did together. it breaks the sadness [after time ofcourse] ; )
Without going into detail, I will say that Frank and Beans are A-OK
I have one more week of school holidays to endure *grits teeth* with my darlings...
I hate that Easter is now a full term break - what was wrong with 4 days? As much as I adore my lot, this is a real kick in the teeth after such a long Christmas break.. LOL!
If I hear, "Can I play Xbox?" one more time, I'm gonna scream!
The Mr is booked in for the snip this coming Friday (no pun intended). It wasn't something I was originally going to write about, 'cos, let's face it - who could get excited about that kind of news, but in light of the recent [fantastic] baby news, I felt it was a sign.
So this Friday is the 13th and quite clearly, he's not a superstitious man. It takes a *ahem* brave person to have their nether regions operated on on such a notorious day. Two weeks before their wedding. When their soon to be bride has spent lots of money on wedding night lingerie. Which will probably go to waste. Because no-one is STUPID ENOUGH TO HAVE A VASECTOMY WHEN FATE IS THERE TO BE TEMPTED!
*cough*
I'm not superstitious. I walk under ladders, I've owned black cats, opening umbrellas inside doesn't faze me... yada yada. But for the most part, I've had some kind of bad luck on Friday 13th. The worst being a bread display falling on me in a dairy - though that's another story.
I will update on Saturday the 14th.
I tried on my dress again yesterday and it's too big! I'm so loving this whole weight loss thing! Even after a whole weekend of eating chocolate and hot cross buns... *feels sick* This is why Easter is only once a year. I couldn't cope if they sold easter eggs year round.
Transport has been arranged (thanks for your comments - it kind of put things into perspective) and I can breathe easy. I can't find a dress for Kyah and we can't really agree on a song for me to walk down the aisle - but they're so minor, they're hardly worth mentioning.
I can't believe how close it is!
Oh, and next Thursday is my birthday so I expect random gifts and lots of shout outs... but no pressure
Hello Good luck with all the last minute stuff, Im sure everything will work out hunky dory (did I just say that?!). Excited much?
And just on a random note (cos you mentioned about easter eggs not being sold all year), I think it is stupid how they sell creme eggs all year. Stupid creme egg makers. Yes. /Rant over.
Oh and good luck mr sins
All the important stuff is done - it's now the fiddly little things.
But I'm a bit worried about the transport. We've argued and argued (with each other) about getting everyone to the venue and as a result, haven't booked anything, so I'm hoping I haven't left it too late!
We've agreed on hiring a bus to take everyone there but it's the getting home part....
Ideally I want to have everyone dropped off at their house/hotel purely from a safety aspect but it means hiring 4-5 taxi vans and going by the quote we were given, it'll be the 2nd biggest cost after the venue!
Hell no!
So the Mr is all for hiring the vans but getting the guests to pay themselves. I've never been to a wedding where I've had to pay for my way home so I think it's really rude!
Hence the arguing.
I think we will go with his way because we simply cannot afford to pay out that kind of money on top of hiring a bus, but how do I tell people?
i was lucky. 90% of our guests were non-drinking Churchy people except for my very rude workmates lol
This day and age where everything is so un-affordable, people would rather see you guys save your money than worry about them. They'll pay their own way home, its nothing given that they've just had free everything.
oh and the ol saying.. you'll get 3dinner sets and 4 clocks : P
Davey Havok with a k is a beautiful, beautiful man
I'm sure they'd understand. It's like guests taking a plate to a party instead of the host providing all the food. Sort of. And if people shared taxi vans and split the cost, then that brings it down a bit right? I'm sure they wouldn't be too disgruntled because paying one way transport is better than missing out on seeing you on your big day, because obviously these people are an important part of your lives, being invited to your wedding in the first place.
I was going to say more or less what Chevy and Alaina have.
Usually when people go to an event they go and get themselves home.
They know you have a family and not an abudance of spare money (well, I'm guessing you don't)
All your guests will be very happy to share your special day with you, and would not want you to spend every last bit of money to get them home at the end of the night..
People will be are more understanding than you may think, about things like having everything laid on!
Don't worry too much about everyone else, should be a day to get excited about, not worry! Do your best to make it a great day for everyone, but not go beyond your means.
I met 'rockboy....
Not at all the perverted type he makes himself out to be on here!
That said, I met him in a strip bar....
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic night! Despite the fact that I'm still having walking issues due to wearing horrendous boots, I have not had that much fun in a long time!
Far too much to write about in detail but we certainly painted the town red...and blue and yellow and every other colour too!
Sinzy's in the paper.

hmm. I read the Dompost at work everyday and spotted the write up straight away on A1 front page. I dont know what to say. .
Still, i hope we see the wee Kyah on the mend and stronger day by day. Faith, hope and love to you Kyah sweetheart where ever you are...

hello
what sort of Cars are you using for the Bridal Cars 7Sins? Primera's, Limosines or late model Commodores...
No cars
We're staying at the venue for a few nights so will just bus everyone out to us.
If we were to do cars, I'd definitely go with the American muscle cars! Maybe in my next life...
Hello

What a night to meet rockboy - hope you didn't corrupt him!

Nice to see you at last!
