Hey guys.. You all may not remember me but I'm sure you all remember 7sins.
She was a regular on this blog and she had a baby girl about the same time I had my baby boy, Carter.
Anyway, I stumbled across this http://grabbies2008.blogspot.com/ - it's a website for people to vote who deserves to win a $1 return flight to anywhere in NZ. 7sins (Shanell) and her partner, Jason is on there. And their story brought tears to my eyes...
"Shanell and Jason are the parents of Kyah, Caleb and Jordan. Their wee girl Kyah was diagnosed in 2007 with a form of Cancer call Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. On the 16th of September every parents worst nightmare was confirmed when Shanell and Jason learnt Kyah age 2.5 has had a relapse in her Cancer and has been found to be terminal. Kyah had been given 1 year at the most befor her illness gets the better of her. Unfortunatly this has turned from months to weeks to now days. Shanell and Jason are 2 amazing people who are struggling not only with coping with their young daughters fate but also their 2 sons who are dealing with the emotions of learning their sister has Terminal Cancer. They are an AMAZING couple who have touched many many hearts....They truely deserve a wee get away together...... "
Please vote for them because they truly deserve this.
Thank you all.

was Chingz a male or female? I never knew and got mixed up with kognag& monkey paw.
lol old saying.... who's arthur and who's martha
I've been following their story for awhile now and it's just so sad. They had a party for Kyah recently and Rachel went along
And here's another blog about the journey with the battle of the illness... http://kyahsjourney.livejournal.com/ - and an article on Stuff. http://www.stuff.co.nz/4724626a20475.html
though she hasn't posted here since she put up the link to the kyahsjourney journal when Kyah got sick.
Many IBers have posted messages of support on Kyahsjourney and have followed the fantastic highs and the heartbreaking lows since July last year.......
ps.... thanks for the link to the trip to anywhere in NZ for $1.....
I voted for them and they already had 591 votes!!
I just checked her profile and here is a blog of hers on her journey with Kyah... http://9monthsaintlong.livejournal.com/
