I was at the free Concert in Levin. Matt said on the mic that he is releasing an Album sometime in the New Year. I havnt seen, read or heard anything about it so far. With idol all over now its been left way to late for him to release anything. everyone's forgotten already
That is what they all say (Ben, Rosita, etc etc). I'll believe it when I see an album in stores.
They've missed the boat.,its way to late now. An Album for Matt should've been cut and on the shelves already for the Christmas spending rush. No one's got money in the New Year as everyone's paying back their Christmas/ new year overspending plus the fact that NZ idol-3 fin liek 2months ago... to far out. i think the 50Grand would be all but gone now
Difference is - he's got the money to pay for doing it, they never did!
tricky. 50grand goes real quick if you dont plan it out properly and stick to that plan. Matt said in the Levin Chronicle he was going to buy a House in Aucks etc but i havnt seen or heard anything yet.
Maybe a Recording Company may inject some capital$$ and buy him outtta his contract that he's currently in? with a view to cutting a new Matt Saunoa Album. i dont know how it goes

Lol no i didnt stand a chance with 200 kids lined up infront of me. shame he had to go so early. There were people coming from all areas of the lower North Island and plenty Busses parked outside
Levin Businesses and a few others got together and Bank rolled the tickets for Matts parents to come over from Brisbane. Really nice of them. i made a sign and posted it in this thread http://www.idolblog.com/node/2009580

We were so happy for you when your name was read out first to be in the Grand Final. All the best Matt.
Another article on the front page of the Manawatu Standard on Friday, stating how Matt is the favourite to win. Mostly talked about the odds and what they are for each of the top 3. Then says that Matt plans to save his voice for the 2 minutes he's actually singing each song in front of the judges. Then goes on to explain about the format of the last few shows. Also inlcudes coloured picture of Matt again.
Great to see this support from the local paper through the contest!
