Always wanted to do a live commentary. (Except it's not really live. Ahem. I recorded it and it just finished. :P)

This is from the moment I started recording. :party:

JJ: About all sorts of things.....Idol in particular. Well they're having Idolblog parties on the night. And we're giving away tickets to all our Roadrunners...andit's just gonna be huge...

Dom: *grunt* yeeaaaah

JJ: ..all the idol fans get together and watch like, for example, it's at the big big screen in Auckland for example..that auckland one. Yeah so you watch the Final on the BIGGEST SCREEN EVER!

Mike: Yeah they were very popular last year

JJ: Yeah!

Mike: ...and if you were rocked along (rocked along?) you might win yourself a Playstation but they are in Auckaland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Details on www.idolblog.com. And it's creator Regan joins us this morning...Morning buddy how're you doing?

Reginald: Hey not too bad how bout yourself?

Mike: yeah good whose gonna win out of the 3?

We arrived at the studio at 6.15 (we weren't meant to be there that early - but my brother was all "traffic jam" so he left early and drove there fast enough to get me scared.); there were heaps of people already there. I was trying to look out for Abbie, but couldn't find her. :'(

I didn't have enough cardboard to make a "I AM CANTDECIDE/REGAN HAS A BIG HEAD" sign. :'( So gutted. But I still wore my Rosita badge. :D

We were sitting really close to this Nik fan club. They screamed at every word Dominic said.

"After the show, there'll only be 4 left"

BUT NOT NICK!!

"Let me introduce you to our iDOOOLLLS"

NIK, AGE IS ONLY A NUMBER!!!!

"And sitting there, all by herself...Teresa"

NIK, YOU'RE PYEOW PYEOW!!

And when no one's saying anything, they still scream. "I LOVE YOU DOMiNIC! I LOVE YOU PAUL! I LOVE YOU FRANKIE NIK! NIK! NIK!"

Then Dom said, "One of the idols will leave"

NIK!.....no wait

Baharharhar *laughs at them*

Anyway, it was really cool seeing everything, but not on the TV screen. ^_^ Everything was a lot smaller than I expected, and everybody looked the same (I don't know what admin means when she says "Nik is sooo much hotter in real life" :P). There was an Idolblog sticker pasted on the back of the seat two rows in front of me. Baharhar.

It's really weird. Because on TV, it's a lot easier to dislike someone, because you're not seeing the whole person. You're just seeing them on TV. I mean, I'm not best friends with them just because I was in the studio audience, but I noticed some human characteristics about them which surprised me. :P I know it sounds stupid; I hope I'm not the only one that automatically switches to "people-on-TV-are-not-human" mode when I watch TV. :P But I like all of them now better, even Dominic. :P Cos you know it isn't all for show, it was a more natural "thank you" from Dominic when the Nik banshees screeched at him off-air than any of his other "thank you"s.

Like last Idol, a rocker didn't do too well with the 'soul' theme; but like last Idol, "rocker" didn't get eliminated and there was a rock show next. ^_^

Except I think Michael had better performances last year than Jesse this year. :-# Can Jesse be compared with Michael still? *dun dun dun*

I also want to copy Nellie and see how my favourites will do. :D
