I didn't end up going to the concert but my little sister and her friend did. They said they were talking to becks and ashlee and they sat next to them (my sisters name is laura in case you're reading this becks
) anyway..apparently my little sister told becks that I liked her and my sister said to me: "I told becks that my brother thinks shes cool but she didnt care, she just liked us" LMAO.
Also, Jesse from last year was there and his kids are cute. or something.

I agree with Lawz, final comment at the bottom (page #1) of this thread Becks, and am I right or wrong, that everyone 'seemed' to cheer when you were announced as the one going home, I hope I'm wrong?
Then when Toni went on Monday night I could have sworn that just after Dominic said "So who's it going to be ladies and gentlemen, Ben or Toni?" that someone from the audience yelled out "Toni" and poor Ben (Hazlewood) didn't know which way to look, and then this was followed by "Go Toni" - whether from the original caller or not I don't know - but it wasn't an encouraging "Gooo Toni" but more like "Go Toni, we don't want you" and Toni 'appeared' to be giving a hard stare to someone to the right of Ben Hazlewood too.
That sort of behaviour just isn't on, if it happened and with my hearing loss problem I could have been dreaming but still.
As has been said elsewhere on here the Idols are to be supported, I'd like to see said haters, or whatever they are, having a go themselves.

thanks for the questions! My favourite song that i did on idol was in rock week probably but that might be because i thought it was reallly gunna suck! haha. But dunno if I have a favourite overall - probably would have to be some old jazz standard or something like that.
For groove week i had real issues cause I only found out on the monday that I couldnt do my pick which was Aint no other man by christina. Thought about doing Lets get loud which I also think might be the cast song for tonights show but I could be wrong!!!!

I had a great time on idol and dont regret a thing, even my last performance! I think taking a risk is admirable so make sure, if your favorite tries something new or doesnt perform to their usual standard, you keep voting cause in the end I really hope the winner will be someone with an individual style with the ability to continue a succuessful career - not someone who can be relatively good in any genre. Can you imagine some of our most successful Kiwi artists singing caberet or country?
All us idols in the house didnt take this competition as seriously as people think! Its a game and some of us didnt play it right but thats the way it goes! It was such a great opportunity and hopefully one that we can all use to further our careers!!!!
Anyway, thanks for everything!! Your kind words meant sooo much and I will be back adding my two cents Im sure!!!!!

Idol judges Frankie Stevens and Iain Stables have questioned voters' motives after Auckland's Becks Wright was voted off the show.
After Sunday night's Elton John special, 24-year-old Becks was placed in the bottom two, along with Indira Moala. Becks was eliminated last night.
Judges Frankie Stevens and Iain Stables were both surprised and dismayed by the public's decision.
"Those girls were two of the strongest performers in this year's competition. Sometimes I'm not sure what the public is basing their votes on," said Frankie Stevens.
In the Elton John special Beck's sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Previously she has sung How Do I Live by Leanne Rimes in the country special, Piece Of My Heart by Janis Joplin, Lady Marmalade by Patty LaBelle and at the regional piano round in Wellington she sang Yesterday by The Beatles.
The remaining top 10 contestants are: Aroha, Ben, Indira, Kali, Matt and Toni.
Next week's theme is groove.
I'm pleased Frankie has finally realised what the rest of us knew two seasons ago LOL None of US have been surprised so far by who the "public" have voted off!!!
